Bryn Posted 15 December 2007 Posted 15 December 2007 He hasn't done anything wrong I'd beg to differ.
Nath. Posted 15 December 2007 Posted 15 December 2007 Nice Idea Mate but bit farfetched really Gera wont be going anywhere realisticly, phillips is realisticly if they go up.not seen this Norris Though Kevin Phillips is getting on a bit now, well into his thirties, he'll be good for about a year, then what, we have to hunt for yet another striker. We need someone who can commit to the club long term, a young but established striker with a proven goalscoring record... Am I asking too much now?

Daz.I Posted 15 December 2007 Posted 15 December 2007 you would seriously question about having kevin phillips at leicester? not a doubt in my mind I'd take him at 45 and in all honesty he'd still have much more than most of our players have to give
Nath. Posted 15 December 2007 Posted 15 December 2007 fair point, if your asking about passion, kevin phillips will put more into it than our current shower of shite. but i was thinking the long term, how long would he last for?
Brainy Posted 15 December 2007 Posted 15 December 2007 I'm concerned that we know the players are crap, but for Ollie to constantly remind them of the fact in the national media doesn't help. We've been unlucky with refereeing decisions, but when we concede the players heads drop and we play pathetically.Should Ollie continue with his constant media appearances? It raises the profile of the club, but does seem to be damaging morale. Will we attract anyone decent in the transfer window? We'll be in the bottom 3 if we lose at Wolves, and this could mean paying extra in transfer fees and wages to get average players. Interesting point but it didn't seem to affect his players at Plymouth did it?
purpleronnie Posted 15 December 2007 Posted 15 December 2007 I don't think we will, but its going to be a long season. I just hope in January he can attract players to the club that will give us a chance and hope for better things next season.
Matt Posted 15 December 2007 Posted 15 December 2007 frankly i wouldnt be too bothered if we were relegated.right now all the current players need is a bloody great kick up the backside. as long as milan didnt leave we'd be fine, just look at leeds. Why would the players care though? IF we got relegated the players we have who think they are better than they are would just leave anyway, and get some other poor team relegated, and if they leave I see it as a positive, but what i'm saying is they'll get us in this mess and leave us in this mess, yet they still think there better than they are. My cousin just asked who i'd like to leave and who i'd like to stay. My answer was that I could probably count the players I want to stay on 1 hand BUT if there to leave aswell I wouldn't be overly bothered, In brief any/all the players we currently have a Leicester City Football Club I really wouldn't be bothered, They can leave with my blessing.
WetFlannel Posted 15 December 2007 Posted 15 December 2007 fair point, if your asking about passion, kevin phillips will put more into it than our current shower of shite. but i was thinking the long term, how long would he last for? what does age mean... when eer the age 30 is mentioned people automatically dismiss players. Its only an age, it doesnt necessarily mean anything. Some great players have gone on to offer alot at an increasing age. I would take him anyday as hes miles better than this current crap... He can finish, he can head a ball, he has fight, he can score goals... but whats the point in dreaming, he'll never come
Rocky Dennis Posted 15 December 2007 Posted 15 December 2007 Anyone who thinks we are too 'big' good etc to get relegated are living with their heads in the sand. start living in reality we will go down with such an inept naive manager in charge. Holloway out now and Hoddle in NOW Are you on crack?? The reason were in the shit is partly down to all the manager sackings and instability in the club (and Allen's poor signings) so how can you think sacking Ollie is gonna help us? Also, HODDLE?? Get Real

ronnup Posted 15 December 2007 Posted 15 December 2007 Really not bothered anymore. The season now means maybe we'll stay up. It's shit mediocraty at best whilst tottering over the precipiss (spelling) of complete disaster. I'm so sick of this team, fook off.
RedOnRed Posted 15 December 2007 Posted 15 December 2007 On a positive note, if you lot do get relegated at least i'll be able to look forward to watching you play us next season. They say every cloud has a silver lining.
Ashley Posted 15 December 2007 Posted 15 December 2007 To be honest I carnt see us going down. There are worse Clubs than us in this division alot has happend at this club this season, managers coming and going players nearly dieing it seems like this is a real life Harchester United(Dream Team). We will come good just give it time.

Ashley Posted 15 December 2007 Posted 15 December 2007 Forget the spelling that's seems perfect Care to name three and the evidence? If your talking about the clubs. Blackpool, Colchester, S****horpe, Preston
Brainy Posted 15 December 2007 Posted 15 December 2007 Problem is 2 of those clubs are currently above us and another one other team aren't that bad.
davieG Posted 15 December 2007 Posted 15 December 2007 If your talking about the clubs.Blackpool, Colchester, S****horpe, Preston Well I've just watched Colchester draw with Norwich and I've not seen us produce anything like the endeavour, passing and attempts on goal that they achieved since our Watford game. (I didn't go to Chelsea) And if we're so much better than them how come we've not managed to beat any of them?

Luggy19 Posted 15 December 2007 Posted 15 December 2007 You're right !!! You're going down and hopefully Ollie goes down with you !!! Dont you lot look silly now. All the banter aimed at Argyle about taking Holloway, defending the underhand manner in which he left and now what ??? Argyle and Luggy in a much better position. Pretty funny if you ask me. By the way Argyle WON today. Just wondering if you and Ian Holloway know what that feels like ??? Good luck for the rest of the season. You'll need it. Especially wiht that lieing bastard in charge.

pauliepaul Posted 15 December 2007 Posted 15 December 2007 Not all players backed Ollie at Plymouth, infact many were pleased when he left...     Now where have i left my flannel..As a football fan i think you should take what the man says with a large pinch of salt..He wants what is best for him regardless of what this means for others.. i dont anticipate Leicester being relegated.... too much support...Or did the majority of the crowd jeer their own players recently??
