onetruefox Posted 19 December 2007 Posted 19 December 2007 It isn't up to Milan, it's up to the players, and they're not happy. Realistically we are only going to get in 6 at the most in January. One or maybe two won't work out, so that will leave us with 4 new players out of a squad of 30? Do your maths. Sorry,I forgot you knew it all,you plonker.
Bluemoon Posted 19 December 2007 Posted 19 December 2007 Sorry,I forgot you knew it all,you plonker. I've been going for forty years since Shilton and before. Believe me, a relegation side has a certain feel about it, and unfortunately that's happening here this year. Promises of players that never materialise, rumours of fallouts amongst the playing staff, performances that get worse and worse, it's a momentum. I don't know everything, but I smell what I've smelt before, and no amount of Mandaric's money will stop it, even if he wanted to spend it on players ( which is not a foregone conclusion... he is not known as a spendthrift ). Leeds were too good to go down....twice! So were the Notts Tree folk.

Trav Le Bleu Posted 19 December 2007 Posted 19 December 2007 Babylon tells it like it is... such talk is pointless!
SamL Posted 19 December 2007 Posted 19 December 2007 Can't see us getting relegated to be honest. We've got money to spend in January and a manager who seems determine to do well. We'll stay up and show potential for next season hopefully. Nice avatar Ched, which games it from?
Bluemoon Posted 19 December 2007 Posted 19 December 2007 They are below us in the league... which means at the moment there are three teams in the league worse than us , which in turn means they have worse players than us. Leagues are decided over a season, not just form of the last 6 matches. So potential, good or bad, means nothing to you then?? According to your synopsis, "you're as good as your last game" is an illegal statement then?
AyewJoking Posted 19 December 2007 Posted 19 December 2007 Build a decent team spirit by winning League One. Use Milan's money to strengthen te side. Win promotion to the Premiership.

It's quite clear now what Rob Kelly was aiming to do here. I feel we should of given him more time to help the squad re-double their efforts.
WetFlannel Posted 19 December 2007 Posted 19 December 2007 Yes i do. If we win our next 5 league games we will be back on for play offs.If we win 4 out of 5 play off hopes. If we win 3 out of 5 mid table If we win 2 out of 5 just above relegation zone If we win 1 out of 5 relegation If we win 0 relegation I dont bullshit with my views, they are based on current form and performances. After the amazing Chelsea performance and then beating Bristol City 2-0 play offs were on, now relegation is. My views are 100% correct and all speak for the nation, they are based on current form. And yes i do change my mind easily play offs for beating bristol away

kendalfox Posted 19 December 2007 Posted 19 December 2007 Another quality thread, its getting beyond mockery now really
RowlattsFox Posted 19 December 2007 Posted 19 December 2007 Of course, I dont want it to happen but a season in league 1 would be an enjoyable season, as long as we are guaranteed promotion
Simi Posted 19 December 2007 Posted 19 December 2007 Of course, I dont want it to happen but a season in league 1 would be an enjoyable season, as long as we are guaranteed promotion That's exactly it though we're not. Imagine our attendances? At most 16,000 I reckon, teams would love coming here.
onetruefox Posted 19 December 2007 Posted 19 December 2007 fooking hell...WE WONT GO DOWN... Now let me start a thread called Leicester City League 2
RowlattsFox Posted 19 December 2007 Posted 19 December 2007 That's exactly it though we're not.Imagine our attendances? At most 16,000 I reckon, teams would love coming here. Our attendances would probably be poor initially but If we were involved in a promotion challenge then i reckon we would get mid-20,000s. All ifs and buts though isnt it.
Sods Posted 19 December 2007 Posted 19 December 2007 Of course, I dont want it to happen but a season in league 1 would be an enjoyable season, as long as we are guaranteed promotion fook right off mate. We dont ever want to drop into league 1
RowlattsFox Posted 19 December 2007 Posted 19 December 2007 fook right off mate. We dont ever want to drop into league 1 I never said we did.

filbertway Posted 19 December 2007 Posted 19 December 2007 Okay its just you put that. It would be though? Cheaper tickets, more wins, more new grounds.
lavrentis Posted 19 December 2007 Posted 19 December 2007 It would be though? Cheaper tickets, more wins, more new grounds. Crappier football.
