Fox in a Box Posted 26 December 2007 Posted 26 December 2007 back to back victories? 4-4-2 with CJ and Frayatt?
WetFlannel Posted 26 December 2007 Posted 26 December 2007 still not sure whether im going to this or not
mutternutter Posted 26 December 2007 Posted 26 December 2007 The picture of them two should be a worry to u real fans.
WetFlannel Posted 26 December 2007 Posted 26 December 2007 The picture of them two should be a worry to u real fans. at least we have fans... what was your attendance today
Koke Posted 26 December 2007 Posted 26 December 2007 I got a good feeling about this. The beauty of this division is that a bottom side like us can beat a top side like Charlton. Never happens in the Prem of course, but it does regularly in the Championship. There is only 10 points difference between Barnsleeeh' at 12th and Colchester at 24th so a win on Saturday would do us the world of good and then its a 6 pointer against QPR on Tuesday. I'm optimistic. And hopeful.
WetFlannel Posted 26 December 2007 Posted 26 December 2007 I'd rather save my money for QPR away... Isnt Cov coming up soon
Koke Posted 26 December 2007 Posted 26 December 2007 I'd rather save my money for QPR away... Isnt Cov coming up soon On the 13th. We got Saints in between though in the cup.
Ultra Posted 26 December 2007 Posted 26 December 2007 The Cov game is on the 12th (Saturday) I'm quite looking forward to it, especially as I've won VIP tickets!
Monk Posted 26 December 2007 Posted 26 December 2007 I have 2 words to say about back to back victories. NO and DANGER. I learnt today that if you go to a game expecting to lose and you actually win in a pleasantly surprising kind of way it makes it more enjoyable. Lets not jump the gun. Ipswich - good league position, shit performance. Charlton - good football team. They won't be a pushover by any stretch of the imagination.
MC Prussian Posted 26 December 2007 Posted 26 December 2007 1-1 We've got a lot to catch up with. Draws are certainly not on that list. 2-1 to us. I know I'm being bold.
Simi Posted 27 December 2007 Posted 27 December 2007 This will be a real test for us, Charlton have been mixed this season away frome home really. Looking at their squad thoguh they're going to be very dangerous coming forward. Ambrose, Iwelumo, McLeod, Varney, Todarov(?). When we played them away we were absolutely dreadful, I hope some of our players still have that in mind and will hope to make up for that shameful performance.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 27 December 2007 Posted 27 December 2007 Is Clem suspended for this? I dunno but they said on Sky that James Chambers would be.
Simi Posted 27 December 2007 Posted 27 December 2007 Is Clem suspended for this? I dunno but they said on Sky that James Chambers would be. Well if they're both out this could become a huge problem for us.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 27 December 2007 Posted 27 December 2007 Well if they're both out this could become a huge problem for us. Not least if they rush Wesolowski back yet again.
Simi Posted 27 December 2007 Posted 27 December 2007 Not least if they rush Wesolowski back yet again. Yeah. I was just about to comment on that. It would be a ridiculous decsion to do that and one that would not benefit anyone. I reckon we could see... Hume----N Gotty-----King-----Hayes
RowlattsFox Posted 27 December 2007 Posted 27 December 2007 Chambers will miss Saturdays game and I think Clemence will miss the QPR game on tuesday.
Asha Posted 27 December 2007 Posted 27 December 2007 Chambers will miss Saturdays game and I think Clemence will miss the QPR game on tuesday. Andy King maybe
RowlattsFox Posted 27 December 2007 Posted 27 December 2007 Andy King maybe More likely to be Alan Sheehan or Hayes coming in on the left with Hume going over to the right.
Thracian Posted 27 December 2007 Posted 27 December 2007 Andy King maybe Always assuming he's stayed fit. Kingy's family live in Berkshire as far as I know and I imagine he's been home for Christmas. There have been no reserve games and Kingy may well have had little football. I'd wonder too if there's much to motivate him. Ollie has said he's bringing in midfielders. It is also clear that Clemence's place is nailed on however he plays. Brutal as it sounds King I imagine is facing a spell on loan and eventually a new club. Great pity but that seems to be his prospects.
Staf Posted 27 December 2007 Posted 27 December 2007 I feel quietly confident i think we will draw 2-2
