Bert Posted 26 December 2007 Posted 26 December 2007 lol lol Who else laughed a lot? That was probably one of the most, abysmal, dreadful attempts i have ever seen to score a goal.
Webbo Posted 26 December 2007 Posted 26 December 2007 I don't want to piss on your chips but I can't laugh at things like that unless it's the opposition.
lildave3 Posted 26 December 2007 Posted 26 December 2007 lol lol Who else laughed a lot? That was probably one of the most, abysmal, dreadful attempts i have ever seen to score a goal. Me.
WetFlannel Posted 26 December 2007 Posted 26 December 2007 I'm sure we wouldnt of been laughing if we were 1 - 0 down, or conceeded 2 goals
davieG Posted 26 December 2007 Posted 26 December 2007 Who else laughed a lot? That was probably one of the most, abysmal, dreadful attempts i have ever seen to score a goal. It was funny although I doubt we'd have laughed so much if we hadn't been winning 2-0. A certain Geoff thomas had a better worse one. There's a few on here including another Thomas effort (3.00)

Koke Posted 26 December 2007 Posted 26 December 2007 By the reaction of him afterwards, I think he knew he made a complete howler of it.
Ultra Posted 26 December 2007 Posted 26 December 2007 His miss wasn't good. But it was nowhere near the horrendous effort by Elvis against QPR last season. That one had the Kop in stitches, even though we were 2-0 down!

WetFlannel Posted 26 December 2007 Posted 26 December 2007 Remind us pleaseI can't quite picture it, really. It was offside anyway but it was an open goal as someone squared it, and he somehow lifted it over the goal... to be fair, it did bobble literally 4 yards out

He should still have found the net, though..
WetFlannel Posted 26 December 2007 Posted 26 December 2007 I can't remember it First / second half? Second as we were 2 - 0 down
Nod.E Posted 26 December 2007 Posted 26 December 2007 I can't remember it First / second half? second. one on one to the right of the goal ( looking from the Kop ) He kind of chipped/outside of the footed it 10 yards wide.
Ultra Posted 26 December 2007 Posted 26 December 2007 I can't remember it First / second half? Second half, Kop end. As I said, we were 2-0 down at the time.
WetFlannel Posted 26 December 2007 Posted 26 December 2007 second.one on one to the right of the goal ( looking from the Kop ) He kind of chipped/outside of the footed it 10 yards wide. It went over didnt it
Nod.E Posted 26 December 2007 Posted 26 December 2007 It went over didnt it over, wide... either way it was funny
Flynny Posted 26 December 2007 Posted 26 December 2007 Peter Divine? Hahaha, I remember that, saw it on some Nick Hancock video. Broke his leg taking a penalty right?
WetFlannel Posted 26 December 2007 Posted 26 December 2007 Hahaha, I remember that, saw it on some Nick Hancock video. Broke his leg taking a penalty right? at least he has an excuse for missing... unlike Robbie Keane
Kilworthfox Posted 26 December 2007 Posted 26 December 2007 everyone around me in L1 was in stitches and so were the Ipswich fans. Its nice too laugh when things like that happen when you are winning tho i suppose. As soon as he had hit it i thought Jason Lee
