Ashley Posted 30 January 2008 Posted 30 January 2008 If this 2.5Million bid is true... I would sell straight away and buy Norris from Plymouth and buy another right back for £500,000
Kilworthfox Posted 30 January 2008 Posted 30 January 2008 If this 2.5Million bid is true...I would sell straight away and buy Norris from Plymouth and buy another right back for £500,000 Just what I thought we need another right back! Well done ash
Jackirius Posted 30 January 2008 Posted 30 January 2008 what ive heard is that hes intrested in gareth mcauly aswell but thats only a rumour... jCn25
dandannieldanok Posted 30 January 2008 Posted 30 January 2008 If the word "million" is quoted in the price we should sell all the way IMO. Stearman is decent but I feel we have a better right-back in James Chambers, and an able deputy in Darren Kenton when his loan deal expires. I know we don't need the cash but any 7 figure offer would surely be too hard to turn down.

Tommy G Posted 30 January 2008 Posted 30 January 2008 why would we want to sell our better players,if martin wants him then thats good enough for me,get off the kids back and start giving them the support they deserve, some of you need to get a reality check, and you lot that think hume is god, just cause he runs about like a dememted dog, sell him for a million, that would be more like it Too right. Hume lovers need to sort themselves out. The managers situation has been to the detriment of players performances yes.Stearman is not good enough, he has not made the progress with his potential (which is always talked / hyped about) & turned it into reality. For me he is way off a Premiership player. I am not saying he is awful. He gets the tag of Leicester fan but does not play with the passion, effort and commitment consistently (if ever) to deserve the tag which he himself admits. As I said above £2.5 million Snap their hands off. Also this is nothing against RS but If O'Neill wanted to buy Hume (who I rate highly) I would say the same as the players value against what the player gives the team In My Opinion is imbalanced in favour of the supposed offer from Villa. You talk shit im afraid. Stearman played well in his debut season, very well considering his age. He had a poor season last season, but then again who didn't. You keep saying he is dross, but if you could tell me who is the shining light then go ahead? He is only 20, really a centre back and not a RB. I've lost count of how many managers he has been managed under? Not exactly ideal as a platform to put in solid performances is it.. give the lad a chance and get off his back. MON knows a hell of a lot more than you, I trust his judgement, and if RS wen't to Villa im sure he would be a success with better players around him and under MON guidance he would be fine. He has done well since Ollie has came in, been our most consistant player... im afraid you've probably just jumped on the "I hate Richard Stearman however well he plays'' bandwagon.. If you pulled your head out of Hume's arse then you might actually be able to see the light!
dandannieldanok Posted 30 January 2008 Posted 30 January 2008 EH? He is on loan at Leeds for a month, I'm saying if we let Stearman go we should put Chambers in at RB and have Kenton as the able standby.
Lets Be having You Posted 30 January 2008 Posted 30 January 2008 Too right. Hume lovers need to sort themselves out. You talk shit im afraid. Bravo i agree yet another shit performance from hume who gets applauded when going off even though he lost the ball everytime he touched it

If you pulled your head out of Hume's arse then you might actually be able to see the light! Than you for the lecture young man. However I am very happy with my opinions of Stearman and Hume. Hume was given as an example in the post which enraged you so. i could have used other players in the squad. My point was (if you missed it) that Stearman is not worth £2.5 million, he is not a player who is going to win us promotion from right back, especially when we IMO have a better option in James Chambers. I have not jumped on to any band wagon, I am sure that you as an Oracle on the subject of Foxestalk would know that i have doubted his ability for a long time not just since someone typed Stearman was a bad player and I must have thought "hey that's a good idea lets agree". Hume has his knockers on here but in my opinion no one can ever question his effort to the club on the pitch week in week out, without excuses for how bad the side is or has been playing. Lastly I believe that you post utter tosh 99.9% of the time but i refrain from getting all hot headed and using words of a derogatory nature at you, I wish you could pay me the same respect.

Fookin hell this is like talking to the missus. Hang on I am going to reply Shining lights? Only Hume for effort, Lazscko for technical ability (not that he has been here long) Stearman can not play at CB in this division IMO as he is too wafer thin Lastly my head has never been and will never be in anyone's arse. fingers crossed What has where I wish to watch the match got to do with anything? baffled they were your only questions
Kilworthfox Posted 31 January 2008 Posted 31 January 2008 Villa not keen on more young unheard of British talent! link Chimbonda by tomorrow, plus anyone for a Leicester full-back and Palace striker? Written by Luke Wednesday, 30 January 2008 Now that Spurs have got their £8m man from Rangers, apparently Chimbonda will be able to secure a move to Villa before the deadline tomorrow at midnight. I say apparently as this is from the Daily Mirror, although Chimbonda's agent has said he would move to Villa. In other more obscure and possibly disappointing transfer news the Daily Mirror also reckon MON will be going for Leicester right-back Richard Stearman and Crystal Palace striker Sean Scannell. Stearman and Scannell both fit the MON 'ideal' perfectly as they are both British and Stearman is 20-years-old while Scannell is 17. I've heard a bit about Scannell but to be honest don't know a lot about Stearman. They're young and MON probably thinks he can develop them into top players so they could be worth a punt. However, I would like the club to start buying some quality rather than young and unpolished British gems.

Kilworthfox Posted 31 January 2008 Posted 31 January 2008 You actually took the time to find this? It's the opinion of some brummies? Boring & yet you felt compelled to reply! Says something! I find most info here, does not take that much time really.
Bluemoon Posted 31 January 2008 Posted 31 January 2008 If this 2.5Million bid is true...I would sell straight away and buy Norris from Plymouth and buy another right back for £500,000 As I said a week ago, it is too late. Norris has agreed to go to Ipswich...he has been impressed by magilton and it's near "home" poor little waif.
