Bert Posted 8 January 2008 Posted 8 January 2008 We shouldn't sell Stearman. He tries his heart out every time and works really hard because he is a local leicester lad. Plus he is quite good aswell He was born in Wolverhampton.
Finn Claw Posted 10 January 2008 Posted 10 January 2008 Villa have been link with Chimbonda (not sure if the spelling is correct there) A Much better right back albeit at a much higher cost. Is anyone gonig to sign our players? Can we have a shit players to sell sweepstake
Staf Posted 10 January 2008 Posted 10 January 2008 I think Chimbonda will leave Spurs for sure i could see him going Villa but who knows maybe they think Stearman has more potential
DBEightyFive Posted 10 January 2008 Posted 10 January 2008 WTF is Bentley's Roof Forum? Its a forum that has been setup to replace Fox Fanzine messageboard on the Rivals site after it turned shit!!

Why post it in the LCFC Transfer Forum? Why post it in an LCFC Forum? Why bother posting it at all?
shen Posted 10 January 2008 Posted 10 January 2008 Why post it in a Stearman topic? Why post it in the LCFC Transfer Forum? Why post it in an LCFC Forum? Why bother posting it at all? Because he's wearing the Leicester shirt in that picture! That's funny! Ha ha! Ha... ... ha
LCFC2007 Posted 13 January 2008 Posted 13 January 2008 He is hardly good enough playing for Leicester so unless he just wants to play in the reserves let him go but if he wants to play matches then his best bet to stay with Leicester. Somehow I don't think he is going to get in Aston Villa's team with the defense that they have with players like Mellberg, Laursen and Davies.
Ultra Posted 13 January 2008 Posted 13 January 2008 Its a forum that has been setup to replace Fox Fanzine messageboard on the Rivals site after it turned shit!! This forum has now shut down.. It was a little too modern for some people's tastes. But I think the prehistoric Foxfanzine board has started up again..

Mellberg and Laursen are both out of contract at the end of the season, so could move on. But I don't think Holloway wants to sell Stearman anyway..

I think you'll find it's alive and well, they've just moved again now they found a clone of the original Fox Fanzine site, technophobes

Noone leaves leicester for free without Ollie having anything to say about it. Who would be the ideal replacement for him then?
acooling08 Posted 13 January 2008 Posted 13 January 2008 Knowone gives Stearman the credit he deserves. He markes Adebola out of the cov game. He got in the championship team of the week in the News of the world He kept giving 100% against cov even after getting cropped. But STILL people think he is rubbish!!!!

Stearman gave away possesion too mant times very cheaply, he also had a shocker with the keeper which nearly gifted them a goal, thank god they were crap and only hit the post. I thought he was our worst player yesterday.

Stearman did not mark Adebola out of the game at all! Adebola was one of the worst players I've seen at the Walkers since we've moved there. Dreadful. Stearman barely had to do anything. Then he kept pumping long balls to nobody and kept giving away possession.

I've been to see Cov a few times this season, living in the city and all, and he is shocking. I get laughs out of his performances everytime.

Adebola was funny he kept running the ball out of play ... bloody aweful ball control. Glad he is not in our side
Simi Posted 13 January 2008 Posted 13 January 2008 Adebola was funny he kept running the ball out of play ... bloody aweful ball control. Glad he is not in our side As am I. The only thing he is good for is winning balls in the air, which he did pretty much every time against Stearman.
Solihullfox Posted 13 January 2008 Posted 13 January 2008 As am I.The only thing he is good for is winning balls in the air, which he did pretty much every time against Stearman. Which is why Ollie instructed Macauley to challenge for the hoofball to Adebola from the start of the second half instead of Stearman. Macauley won virtually every challenge from therein. To be fair to Stearman, and I'm not a fan of his distribution which is poor to say the least, he did get stuck in.

I was a fan of his tackle in the second half, absolutely crunching tackle, which he came out worst from!
filbertboy Posted 13 January 2008 Posted 13 January 2008 Do you think this is the same Stearman fan that was in here a few weeks ago? The one that couldn't stop going on about him. I've very rarely seen Stearman try his heart out. He may be local but I doubt very much he gives a shit about how we're doing. He's just an over paid snob. Do you know him that well to make such a statement ?? Seems strange that a player who attracts so much criticism, should be continually linked to a pretty decent premiership club.....does it not ?? The same premiership club that is run by an ex - god of Leicesters , renowned for a pretty decent track record of transfers. After yesterday we all need to continue supporting all the lads wearing our shirt, so that we can keep moving forward. If Stearman is picked then that includes him.

I'm sorry but that is absolute bollocks, if ever there was a player in the team who threw himself in where it hurts then Stearman can be counted as one, He may over hoof the ball, he may lose concentration but saying he no heart just shows that you're blinkered in your opinion of him. As for not giving a shit where do you get that from have you not seen his reaction when we/he scores, at the end of games we've won or done well in he's always standing as proud as anyone. And you know him well enough to call him a snob, do you even know what that means?
