Floating Fox Posted 28 September 2008 Posted 28 September 2008 Night race at Fuji or Singapore?Only one answer for me. The circuit will probably be changed slightly for next year, just like Valencia will be. With Fuji it'd just be the lights with nothing appealing in the background, except Mount Fuji. The spectacle was just terrific, I loved it. Agreed. It was more about the aesthetic value of the race. Looked amazing with the skyscrapers etc. The race still managed to be half interesting. I still find it incredible they don't stick it in the wall more often at tracks like that too.
Legend_in_blue Posted 28 September 2008 Posted 28 September 2008 Massa pitlane incident Watching the mechanics running down the pitlane - pure genius. It's up there for comedy value with Schumacher marching down the pitlane after Coulthard took him out at Spa all those years back. F1 is never dull off the track!
Lovejoy Posted 29 September 2008 Posted 29 September 2008 I reckon someone like Kubica or Alonso will spring a surprise this weekend. No reason, just gut instinct .
The Stig Posted 29 September 2008 Posted 29 September 2008 I like Monaco... No <_< IMO it was amazing to watch 10 years ago, but now there are better spectacles in F1, all we get is a boring race.
The Stig Posted 29 September 2008 Posted 29 September 2008 Well done son. The only logical explanation is that you time travelled.
Lovejoy Posted 29 September 2008 Posted 29 September 2008 Well done son. The only logical explanation is that you time travelled. I'm considering doing the lottery this week . Have only done it once before on my 16th birthday.
Brainy Posted 29 September 2008 Author Posted 29 September 2008 Four different constructors have won the last four races, 5 for the season now.

Imo that is excellent, the most open (to an extent) it's been since I started watching F1. Though interms of the title race, I can't see Hamilton slipping up now.

Brainy Posted 30 September 2008 Author Posted 30 September 2008 I'm sure that was said last year, at this point. Well as long as Ferrari keep their pit lighting system, I see them cocking up at least one more time this season. Force India must be sick of the sight of the Ferrari's now. Monaco, Valencia, Singapore pit lane and where Sutil crashed. Billbabob?

The pit lighting system is an example of Ferrari trying to be too high-tech and advanced in an attempt to gain an advantage and it's costing them dearly. Some serious basic pit stop practice is needed.

Disagree, and if you ever visit Monaco you will understand why. It is a fabulous place and for me I'd never want anything like Valencia or Singapore to replace it.
lildave3 Posted 1 October 2008 Posted 1 October 2008 Disagree, and if you ever visit Monaco you will understand why. It is a fabulous place and for me I'd never want anything like Valencia or Singapore to replace it. I've been to Monaco (not the race) and I don't see how that makes it a good race?
dandannieldanok Posted 1 October 2008 Posted 1 October 2008 I've been to Monaco (not the race) and I don't see how that makes it a good race? I'm not entirely sure what I mean either but when we drove down through that tunnel I could just imagine the thrill of F1 cars hurtling through at 150mph, Monaco synonymous with F1 and I just couldn't imagine the season without it.
The Stig Posted 1 October 2008 Posted 1 October 2008 Disagree, and if you ever visit Monaco you will understand why. It is a fabulous place and for me I'd never want anything like Valencia or Singapore to replace it. Fair enough, I can't say I've ever been and I know its a minority opinion.

Brainy Posted 2 October 2008 Author Posted 2 October 2008 My Lottery numbers will be.........? You're not even old enough to play the lottery.
Asha Posted 2 October 2008 Posted 2 October 2008 You're not even old enough to play the lottery. He even said that yesterday. And re-used the lottery numbers gag. First I predicted Alonso at the weekend to win the Grand Prix, now I get this right. Anyone want their lottery numbers picking ? Im to young still
