Asha Posted 23 September 2008 Posted 23 September 2008 Appeal lost!!http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/motorsport...one/7627941.stm They weren't ever going to overturn it, not really. As bad as the original decision was, like isaidno said rescinding it now would be even worse.
Wycombe Fox Posted 23 September 2008 Posted 23 September 2008 Why would it have been a farce to overturn the penalty? It would have taken somes balls by the FIA. Oh...I've just answered my own question. The only balls the FIA have are possibly in a London flat being trodden on by 8" stilettos as we speak...ALLEGEDLY.
hairy Posted 23 September 2008 Posted 23 September 2008 The FIA would never go against Ferrari. Never. Fact. The sport has become so biased to the Italian team it is really putting me off. Lets hope both of their cars fail to finish the next four races.
Asha Posted 23 September 2008 Posted 23 September 2008 Lets hope both of their cars fail to finish the next four races..
Jimmy Posted 23 September 2008 Posted 23 September 2008 fine Kimi can finish behind Lewis in every race ...
isaidno Posted 23 September 2008 Posted 23 September 2008 1 point in in with 4 races left. Singapore,China & Japan should favour Hamilton and Brazil will favour Massa. I fancy Kubica this weekend, he goes well on street circuits.
Lovejoy Posted 23 September 2008 Posted 23 September 2008 I reckon someone like Kubica or Alonso will spring a surprise this weekend. No reason, just gut instinct .
Asha Posted 23 September 2008 Posted 23 September 2008 I reckon someone like Kubica or Alonso will spring a surprise this weekend. No reason, just gut instinct . Same, especially with Kubica. Just sense it's going to be a crazy race where the Ferraris/McLarens end up nowhere.
Jimmy Posted 23 September 2008 Posted 23 September 2008 I think it was Renault. they were involved in 1 of the spy scandles
Brainy Posted 23 September 2008 Author Posted 23 September 2008 If the FIA don't like rescinding decisions after the races then no wonder they investigated the Massa/Force India pit lane incident after the race.
Legend_in_blue Posted 23 September 2008 Posted 23 September 2008 The whole thing stinks. The FIA come out and say that penalties involving a pit lane drive-through are non-appealable so then they go and allow the hearing and stick to their original decision anyway. Someone clearly has too much time on their hands. The FIA, FA, Football League, whatever, when it comes to appeals, why bother? Total waste of space.
isaidno Posted 24 September 2008 Posted 24 September 2008 Heavy showers predicted for this weekend. Night racing in the rain, should be fun
Brainy Posted 24 September 2008 Author Posted 24 September 2008 ..on what should be a slippery track and one the drivers have never raced on before.
Floating Fox Posted 24 September 2008 Posted 24 September 2008 Heavy showers predicted for this weekend. Night racing in the rain, should be fun I swear every race this year has had rain predicted at some point
Munzie Posted 25 September 2008 Posted 25 September 2008 I swear every race this year has had rain predicted at some point Still the best thing for exciting racing After the sucess of Moto GP under floodlights, this should be fantastic.
Wycombe Fox Posted 26 September 2008 Posted 26 September 2008 Wow! Just watching first practice at Singapore. Looks pretty spectacular. It almost looks like a computer game!
Brainy Posted 26 September 2008 Author Posted 26 September 2008 It looks awesome Shame my video is really freezy though.
Wycombe Fox Posted 26 September 2008 Posted 26 September 2008 It looks awesomeShame my video is really freezy though. Yes mine's just started that too. Try watching Practice 2 on Star Sports or Wheels channels on TVU Player. There's commentary on those as well.
Wycombe Fox Posted 26 September 2008 Posted 26 September 2008 Any chance of a link?? http://www.fsiteam.info/upload/ Download and install TVU Player (Latest Release) Open the programme and scroll along the top until you get to 'Sports' Click on 'Sports' and then scroll down the channel list to find either Star Sports or Wheels. Star Sports also shows Premier League games live (about a two or three minute delay). Practice 2 starts at 2.30 pm our time.
Wycombe Fox Posted 26 September 2008 Posted 26 September 2008 Wheels is better quality for me. Star Sports video quality isn't as good.
Floating Fox Posted 26 September 2008 Posted 26 September 2008 Rosberg off. Track looks amazing. Can't believe Brundell doesn't commentate on pratice as well! The onboard shots are amazing too. Wow!
isaidno Posted 26 September 2008 Posted 26 September 2008 I've just watched the highlights, looks amazing. I hope it's not an anti climax like Valencia was. Trulli fined £10,000 for driving the wrong way round the circuit
Brainy Posted 26 September 2008 Author Posted 26 September 2008 Thats my only worry, not many overtaking opportunities.
