Wasyls Pec Deck Posted 5 January 2008 Posted 5 January 2008 In my opinion he was at fault for both goals. He looks overweight and his kicking was shocking. He quite simply doesnt cut it... Milan please open your chequebook and pay £xm for a young quality, international keeper who wants to play for us, think his names Fulop . The rest of em were shit as well...except for Howard, he's gonna have a big say on if we go down or not in my opinion.

Wasyls Pec Deck Posted 5 January 2008 Author Posted 5 January 2008 if you believe whats been banded about in the press then...yes
WetFlannel Posted 5 January 2008 Posted 5 January 2008 Stop making him as the only scapegoat for our woeful position. All the players are to blame and its wrong to just single out him... Besides, he wont be first choice for long
Matt Posted 5 January 2008 Posted 5 January 2008 Does he want to play for us? We cannot be sure. No direct quotes from Fulop himself but according to Ollie, the new Hungarian player, and think Milan has reported Fulop was happy and wanted to play for us.
scrivins2 Posted 5 January 2008 Posted 5 January 2008 he is shit conceeded 5 in the last two games don't know fulop's stats but he couldnt have done worse unless you count the chelsea game
MPH Posted 5 January 2008 Posted 5 January 2008 Does he want to play for us? We cannot be sure. we can be. He has said he wanted to make the deal permanent and is dissapointed to of been recalled.... http://www.fansfc.com/leicesterfootballclu...p?newsid=177221 11:05 06/12/2007Marton Fulop wants to make his loan stay at the Walkers Stadium a permament deal The Hungarian custodian has impressed with his displays since joining the Foxes and said: “It's up to Leicester and Sunderland and whether they can agree a price. “After that, we can talk about it because, like I have said, I am really enjoying my time here.â€

Besides, he wont be first choice for long I'm not, I'm saying in my opinion todays game probably would have been different with Fulop in goal. You cannot deny that Henderson is a shadow of what we saw from Fulop.

MPH Posted 5 January 2008 Posted 5 January 2008 He said that before he was recalled, I'm still not sure. well if you are not even convinced after me quoting the man himself then you clearly want to make your own mind up about what he wants!!!
The Stig Posted 5 January 2008 Posted 5 January 2008 well if you are not even convinced after me quoting the man himself then you clearly want to make your own mind up about what he wants!!! Nope not at all. People change their minds. There was a direct quote from Ian Holloway saying he wasn't going to Leicester. Less than a week later he was the City manager. People change thier minds. He might, having assesed his options either A decided to fight for his place at Sunderland or B be interested in other clubs, for example there has been reported interest from Bolton and QPR. All I'm saying is we can't be 100% sure.
Trav Le Bleu Posted 5 January 2008 Posted 5 January 2008 If not Fulop, at least someone better than Henderson. He's a decent shotstopper, but doesn't boss the box the way Fulop did (or any good keeper!) and that makes defenders uneasy.
Thracian Posted 5 January 2008 Posted 5 January 2008 The thing about Fulop is that, should a cross come in, no-one, not fans or players, are particularly worried. Fulop seems to cope with crosses as if they're completely routine. Defenders don't need to crowd the area too deeply because Fulop's big arms stretch up and invariably pluck the ball from the air with a minimum of fuss. With Henderson it's always a bit of a lottery. Defenders don't know whether he'll deal with the trouble or if they'll have to and uncertainty develops. In some ways I'm glad the change in confidence has been so noticeable. It emphasises only too clearly how important it is to invest in a quality goalkeeper.

Thanks Thrac, that was what I was trying to say put more succinctly (I think that's the right word) Hendo makes his defenders worry

Jimmy Posted 5 January 2008 Posted 5 January 2008 why is anyone surprised he's shit, he wasn't good enough to play for BRADFORD before we signed him, either recall Logan immediately or pay the £3m for Fulop, which is a fooking bargain when it gets Henderson out of the team...
Bryn Posted 5 January 2008 Posted 5 January 2008 Anyone seen Cisak play before? Surely even he is better?

I'm not at all sure we can recall Logan. I've always thought he was the obvious deputy but I seem to recall he was sent out on a full season's loan though I'll happily stand correcting.

Mort Posted 5 January 2008 Posted 5 January 2008 ...either recall Logan immediately or pay the £3m for Fulop, which is a fooking bargain when it gets Henderson out of the team... Logan is just as pap as Henderson... neither is any good, both especially lower league players. Put a gun to my head I'd probably lean towards Logan (for his solid performance at the end of last season) but neither is anywhere near good enough... either get Fulop, or opt for one of Alnwick or Wright on loan.

Maybe not but Henderson is at his peak, at least Logan will improve. as for the other dunno about Alnwick but Wright is happy picking up his pay check and bench warming at West Ham
dandannieldanok Posted 5 January 2008 Posted 5 January 2008 Once again inept defenders get away scot-free..................
Jimmy Posted 5 January 2008 Posted 5 January 2008 Once again inept defenders get away scot-free.................. the same defenders had 1 of the best defensive records in the league when Fulop was in goal ...
Mort Posted 5 January 2008 Posted 5 January 2008 Once again inept defenders get away scot-free.................. Nope... I've always thought that the likes of McAuley, Kisnorbo etc... get away with far too much, but Fulop (or any half decent keep) was able to compensate for their lapses, Hendo simply isnt capable of doing that.
