Football Fans make "Excessive noise"

"I can understand being banned from smoking, drinking and standing up in football stadiums, but being told to keep the noise down is crazy."
:crylaugh:

What a joke, stewards really do need some common sense. Causing excessive noise, at football? What is wrong with that?

Stewarding is getting a bit over the top.

Thats well out of order as many of them were saying if drums were banned why the f**k did they let them take them in!!

them stewards who were pulling the drum away need sacking imo

And if you watch the video with the link it shows that more of a situation was caused trying to take the drum. To many stewards and Police there only antagonizing the situation.

More OTT stewarding

Really is out of order. Theres a video of the stewards wading in and nearly causing a riot. Idiots.

In fairness though it was Blackpool fans doing the complaining.:unsure::S

Noise at a football match? Noise should be banned altogether. Crazy.

Exactly, who do they think they are, football fans.

Because we all know that if you make a complaint to a Steward they will always put it right -YES!!!!!!

People like Alex Ferguson complain about atmosphere at grounds and then when teams like Blackpool create noise they end up in trouble

I think every blackpool fan should take a musical instrument to the next southampton game, 2000 maracas should do the trick

Makes you sick and it's symptomatic of the times.

These "anonymous" complaints get on my nerves anyway.

If a complaint is made, whoever makes it should be prepared to stand alongside it. Any activist with their own agenda can complain otherwise.

Our society is ridiculous these days. One person complaining can affect the enjoyment of hundreds or even thousands who think differently but guess who gets the sympathy.

People will doubtless argue that making complainants known will intimidate them into keeping quiet but I know through two first hand instances that some "complaints" are just inventions or are simply made with mischievous intent.

Doubtless the fans will roll over though in the end.

You should try been an Arsenal fan.

They've employed a Big Brother security system.

If there are any problems they have to text a complaint to a number, for example "Standing34". Then a steward comes to address the problem. Gutless.

That really is pathetic. Surely it makes people feel about 3 years old having to 'tell tale' on somebody else?

What is the world coming to? Stewards really don't have any common sense do they, and these health and safety regulations seem to be causing more problems than what they're solving at the moment.
