Lillehamring Posted 7 January 2008 Posted 7 January 2008 Mr Michael Jagger tough one, based on live and recording i'd go for either: ray davies - kinks morrissey - smiths jarvis cocker - pulp
Alexikokopops Posted 8 January 2008 Posted 8 January 2008 Anthony Costa - the REAL front man of Blue.
Raj Posted 8 January 2008 Posted 8 January 2008 Some of you young Guns may not remember. These were THE in band of the 80's Lead singer-Ben Volpeliere-Pierrot What a fcuking name eh????
Trav Le Bleu Posted 8 January 2008 Posted 8 January 2008 Boy George The question was frontMAN! And the answer actually is, beyond a shadow of a doubt, Howlin' Pele Almqvist of the Hives. Never seen a singer play the audience better than he did. Though of course I think you can only answer this question with acts you have seen live.
MikeyT Posted 8 January 2008 Posted 8 January 2008 Jon Bon Jovi!!! I shall wait to be ridiculed! But i dont care!!!
MikeyT Posted 8 January 2008 Posted 8 January 2008 Mr Michael Jagger Although i'm not a big fan of The Stones, i do agree that Jagger has got a very goog stage presence about him. I was lucky enough to go for free to see them play at Twickenham a couple of years ago now, and they did kick ass, even if they were little ants on the stage from where i was sitting!
Ultra Posted 8 January 2008 Posted 8 January 2008 Live, it has to be Bruce Springsteen. Jon Bon Jovi and Bryan Adams must run him close though.

If he ever caught you with your pants down, you'd soon know he's a REAL man!!

Ive never been able to get tickets though! Plus it always seems to be quite expensive unfortunately Seen Bryan Adams about 10 times and agree he is a great frontman. Seen Bon Jovi 3 times and will be seeing them again next year in Cov. They always put on a great show!

MikeyT Posted 8 January 2008 Posted 8 January 2008 Seen them six times- and more other bands than i can shake a stick atNo-one to touch him !! How much on average did you spend on a ticket to go see them last time? I got my ticket as a gift, but it still cost £120! Very expensive, and they were the cheapest seats!!!

Trumpet Posted 8 January 2008 Posted 8 January 2008 Anthony Costa - the REAL front man of Blue. Did you watch never mind the buzzcocks? He got slaughtered! haha.. Didnt walk off like Preston did though... I'd go with Matt Bellamy.
Lillehamring Posted 9 January 2008 Posted 9 January 2008 Axl RoseBruce Springsteen David Grohl explain...
General Smuts Posted 9 January 2008 Posted 9 January 2008 explain... He's the lead singer of Foo Fighters now, hes gone beyond being the drummer in Nirvana. Hes quite the performer actually. No Brian Wilson mind
General Smuts Posted 9 January 2008 Posted 9 January 2008 Mine are Morrissey (natch), Johnny Borrell and Luke Pritchard (even though thier both pretentious wankers thier both very good frontmen) and my personal favourite the new young pretender Liam Fray.
