WetFlannel Posted 10 January 2008 Posted 10 January 2008 I thought De Vries was a hit with them... Kish not so much.Didn't he score on his debut late on in the game or something?? (De Vries) yeh he did, got injured fairly quick though... Wouldnt go as far to say he was a hit
lildave3 Posted 10 January 2008 Posted 10 January 2008 I don't think he's been too bad this year, his work rate seemed good most of the time. But not really needed.
reynard Posted 10 January 2008 Posted 10 January 2008 Kenton won't get a new contract in the summer. That's what I hear on radio Leicester. Holloway happy to let him go as he wont be offering him a contract for next season.
Koke Posted 10 January 2008 Posted 10 January 2008 Kenton won't get a new contract in the summer. He's a good squad player and very versatile. I would've thought he would good enough as a backup player.
Simi Posted 10 January 2008 Posted 10 January 2008 He's a good squad player and very versatile. I would've thought he would good enough as a backup player. Holloway has said he's not giving him a new deal.
shen Posted 10 January 2008 Posted 10 January 2008 He's a good squad player and very versatile. I would've thought he would good enough as a backup player. Perhaps he was 'too' content being just a squad player. IH wants to get rid of negativity and that must surely include complacency or lack of ambition. It's just a hunch... Besides, with our presumably huge wage bill someone needs to go, and it's not like other clubs are rushing to sign any of our players at the moment...
MPH Posted 10 January 2008 Posted 10 January 2008 I Totally Agree...We Shouldn't Give Players To That Little **** Even If They Are Sh*t ahh. reverse psychology thingy , my boy... Send him all the crap players so they dont get promoted. Except i dont think Kenton is that bad...
Mort Posted 10 January 2008 Posted 10 January 2008 Hmmm... De Vries, Kish and now Kenton... Are Leeds now our feeder club?
AyewJoking Posted 10 January 2008 Posted 10 January 2008 No, they just know Leicester have lots of players they want rid of but the cheeky bastards only loan them.
The Stig Posted 11 January 2008 Posted 11 January 2008 I seem to be on my own here I don't rate the guy to my mind he's not as fast as people make out, maybe he's just a slow thinker but there's been many a game where I've seen him out paced especially at full-back. He always looks disinterested to me. I certainly wouldn't pick him over Stearman even with his faults, he's slower, his distribution is no better and he looks like he wants to be elsewhere. Having said that I'd like to see Chambers given a decent chance at fullback and Stearman a run out at CB coming on from the bench just to see how he copes, preferably after a few games at CB in the reserves. Your not on your own, I agree with all of that.
