Messi Posted 10 January 2008 Author Posted 10 January 2008 A maintain we should not be loaning out players to Dennis Wise. I Totally Agree...We Shouldn't Give Players To That Little **** Even If They Are Sh*t

This is only to replace Marques while he's away.
Monk Posted 10 January 2008 Posted 10 January 2008 OK it's only a 1 month Loan I can deal with that. Ideally Kenton should be on the bench, so this basically says to me that he's going to drop N'Gotty. Shame though as he's been playing pretty well.
Blue Bob Posted 10 January 2008 Posted 10 January 2008 A maintain we should not be loaning out players to Dennis Wise. I know where you are coming from but they seem to be the only suckers who are prepared to take these muppets off our hands!!! And lets face it neither Kish or De Vries have been that good at Leeds so I would say we have done well out of the deals, Wise hasn't. 2-0 city I think!!!
Jimmy Posted 10 January 2008 Posted 10 January 2008 Kents On The MovePosted on: Thu 10 Jan 2008 Leicester City defender Darren Kenton has today (Thursday) joined Leeds United for a one-month loan period. The 29-year-old becomes the second City player to leave the Foxes on a temporary deal in the window - with Jonny Hayes joining Northampton Town earlier in the week. Leicester boss Ian Holloway has so far recruited five new players during January - Ben Alnick, Steve Howard, Barry Hayles, Zsolt Laczko and Gabor Bori. Kenton has made six starts for the Foxes this season - his last coming in the 2-0 defeat at the hands of Southampton last weekend. He has taken on a host of roles on the pitch since joining the club in June 2006 - including centre-half, centre-midfield and right-back. His loan move will run until February 12 2008. I'm really getting sick of us helping that thug out now ...

Kentons more than good enough to play in that league.
dpjfox Posted 10 January 2008 Posted 10 January 2008 hes always done ok for us in many positions, good squad player i wouldnthave let hm go to Wise, maybe Connolly is on his way (although not as versatile)
Finn Claw Posted 10 January 2008 Posted 10 January 2008 hes always done ok for us in many positions, good squad player i wouldnthave let hm go to Wise, maybe Connolly is on his way (although not as versatile) Doubt Connoly is on his way We have Sheehan/Mattock Kisnorbo/Ngotty/Mcualy/ Chambers/Stearman I'm not sure Kenton is a big loss, if it gets bad we can always bring in Mayberry! Hopefully he will start a lot of games and be picked up by someoneelse in that league at the end of the season.
The Stig Posted 10 January 2008 Posted 10 January 2008 Not a big loss, good player at leage one level. Unspectacular at championship level and pretty inconsistant.
STUHILL Posted 10 January 2008 Posted 10 January 2008 Good squad player to fill in at back for injuries, but apart from that, doesnt represent the Future so yeh get rid!
Scow Posted 10 January 2008 Posted 10 January 2008 A maintain we should not be loaning out players to Dennis Wise. I think the Bassett connection is helping him. I feel a bit sorry for Kenton. He's a dependable player who has done a decent job for us. I would still play Kenton over Stearman at right back, but the latter seems to get in the side irrespective of who's in charge.
SamL Posted 10 January 2008 Posted 10 January 2008 Jelly and ice cream when Kenton leaves, Pass the parcel when Kenton leaves, Strippers & hoes when Kenton leaves. Disco. He's a good utility player but if we want to be doing well in this league we need to be aiming a little higher than Darren Kenton. I can see why he was placed on the transfer list in the summer because his performances were dire last season but have improved slightly this season. He still puts in his all even when asked to play out of position unlike the rest of the squad. He's a very dependable player and i'd play him over Stearman any day.
Alexikokopops Posted 10 January 2008 Posted 10 January 2008 A maintain we should not be loaning out players to Dennis Wise. Unfortunately they seem to be the only team that want to take our players off us.
Joe. Posted 10 January 2008 Posted 10 January 2008 Personally I'd still play Kentom at right back over Stearman. But can't say I'm too fussed, at least he should get some regular football.
dandannieldanok Posted 10 January 2008 Posted 10 January 2008 Good luck to him, hopefully he does enough to earn a permanent deal.
Simi Posted 10 January 2008 Posted 10 January 2008 Meh. Can't say I'm to fussed, although I don't agree with helping Wise out.
Staf Posted 10 January 2008 Posted 10 January 2008 I actually dont mind Darren Kenton he isnt the most quality player around but he is versatile and can play anywhere along the back four i wish we would of kept him but if he isnt going to play then we may as well get rid of him
davieG Posted 10 January 2008 Posted 10 January 2008 I seem to be on my own here I don't rate the guy to my mind he's not as fast as people make out, maybe he's just a slow thinker but there's been many a game where I've seen him out paced especially at full-back. He always looks disinterested to me. I certainly wouldn't pick him over Stearman even with his faults, he's slower, his distribution is no better and he looks like he wants to be elsewhere. Having said that I'd like to see Chambers given a decent chance at fullback and Stearman a run out at CB coming on from the bench just to see how he copes, preferably after a few games at CB in the reserves.

Kish not so much. Didn't he score on his debut late on in the game or something?? (De Vries)
