Jack Posted 13 January 2008 Posted 13 January 2008 I would take him IMO he can still do the job at this level no matter how much of a dirty cnut he is.
purpleronnie Posted 13 January 2008 Posted 13 January 2008 I've said before he is one of the worst defenders around and yesterday proved it, anyone with a little skill, or pace will have him in their pocket.

Tbf though it's a bit of a step up from the championship to the premier league. No doubt about he will get murdered every game against Premier league strikeres, but I think he could do a decent job at this level. Big strong physical centre back and he's also good in the air. We could do a lot worse IMO.
Mark Posted 13 January 2008 Posted 13 January 2008 Ollie likes the defence to play a high line, it almost caught out McAuley a few times yesterday due to his slowness, putting Moore in there just wouldn't work.
Koke Posted 13 January 2008 Posted 13 January 2008 A soon-to-be 34 year old Derby has-been? Thanks but no thanks.
davieG Posted 13 January 2008 Posted 13 January 2008 People would actually be happy with this sort of signing. In the words of the Grumpy king himself, Victor Meldrew I don't believe it!
joely22 Posted 13 January 2008 Posted 13 January 2008 You! Ask Joely if Richards is all he's cracked up to be. Matt Richards. Yeah he's supposed to eb quality. Creative midfielder. Don't know much about him but from what i've heard, is better than what Tom Huddlestone was at the same age. Unfortunatly, he seems to be the only one who's looking good enough to make the step up. As for Darren Moore, I heard the same rumour. Have also been told from the same person that told me about Howard going to your lot that you're interested in Gary Teale. As for Dave Jones, not heard much about him to be honest. He's injured at the moment but I hope that Jewell keeps him. Is pretty decent in the Championship. Was told that Wolves wanted him but that's all. That came from a relative of his, but not heard anything since.

dandannieldanok Posted 20 January 2008 Posted 20 January 2008 This is one battle which I hope Coventry beat us.
MikeyT Posted 20 January 2008 Posted 20 January 2008 This is one battle which I hope Coventry beat us. I second that!
foxad Posted 20 January 2008 Posted 20 January 2008 If he came though i reckon he would definately ... definately be the longest in the shower, ... he really likes to make sure he's clean ... could the club afford such large water bills?

lee7 Posted 20 January 2008 Posted 20 January 2008 moore is crap. he gets turned to easily and lets strikers shoot to much. on match of the day last night he was absolutely crap against portsmouth. although he's good in the air. derby can keep him
