Ronaldo hat-trick anybody?

This guy is on fire, he should pass Best's record easy. He is a very good player and i'm sure he will go on to be a Man United legend.

I know he's at his problems, being labeled a cheat etc. but I really think he's got his act together and is trying to show what he's all about.

I know others have probably got a different opinion though :whistle:

I would buy a Season ticket at Utd just to watch him, they must love it.

pisses me off! he's absolutely unplayable and at £13+ million, far too much to slip into my fantasy team. twat!! and he's not gonna stop at 2 tonight that's for sure... :(

IMO the best player in the world at the minute, by quite a way.

To be honest, I couldnt give a darn about England. Not a big fan of international football generally.

I just feel that Gerrard is a more rounded player. He can play in the hole, right back, right midfield, centre midfield and played briefly at left midfield. It isnt just the fact he can play there, he does a darn good job wherever he plays.

He can score goals, he can tackle, he can cross, takes a good set piece. His versatility is unquestionable. Aswell as this, he can do something no other player on earth can do, which is somehow revive a whole team, take the game to another level and put in a stunning performance when it really matters. Champions league final and 3 - 0 down to Milan. Thats the game when Ronaldo will get lost. Gerrard will stand above the rest, despite the defecit, and pull a rabbit out of a hat.

Theres no question Ronaldo is a stunning player, but I would rather have Gerrard in my team.

In many ways I agree with Flannel, Ronaldo isn't the best player in the world. Yet.

He may be sensational at domestic level against teams outside of the big four but when it comes to the big games against better teams he is often found to be nowhere in the game. The better teams can play against him and all but eliminate him from the game.

Until Ronaldo can become more of a big-game player I can't see United cracking Europe yet.

Gerrard scores goals? I can't be arsed to trawl throught stats, but I would expect Ronalso scored double than gerrard last year in al competitions.

I don't buy this whole ''Gerrard carries Liverpool'' crap. Has Ronaldo had the opportunity to play in a side that Gerrard has played in, in that situation? No. Torres will do that for Liverpool this season.

Ronaldo is unquestionably the best player in the world, anyone who disagree's is deluded or doesn't watch him play/watch football. Gerrard doesnt have that 'get off your seat' factor that Ronaldo has.

Ronaldo, then Kaka, then I don't know. Gerrard wouldn't be in my top 5 though that's for sure.
