Matt Posted 2 February 2008 Posted 2 February 2008 What goes around comes around is all i'm going to say. I thought we'd got some luck on Monday, I thought we'd finally turned a corner a luck was on our side for once, but looks like todays result evened it out for Monday. But lets blame it on the bad condition's - Thats the reason we lost...Because I forgot the conditions we're totally different for Blackpool wern't they?!
AyewJoking Posted 2 February 2008 Posted 2 February 2008 zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 2 February 2008 Posted 2 February 2008 Only possitive is i got my fix of Barbers Soothing Voice
FleckneyFox Posted 2 February 2008 Posted 2 February 2008 meh. you win some, you lose some. still 4 points clear of relegation. dissappointing though rare defensesive lapses.
The Reverend Posted 2 February 2008 Posted 2 February 2008 fook off Leicester. So so disappointing, but what goes around, but its always us that it comes around to. Total dog shit. Oh, and can the next person who starts a play off thread be banned.
breadandcheese Posted 2 February 2008 Posted 2 February 2008 Hopefully now we can stop the ridiculous talk of play-offs. This relegation battle is one I fear far more this season than the one we endured last season. I don't think the players have realised the battle we are in. Blackpool scored in the first few minutes and last few minutes. That is the pinnacle of unprofessionalism, not firing on all cylinders from the word go and not maintaining concentration to the end.
Lillehamring Posted 2 February 2008 Posted 2 February 2008 good job we didn't sell macauley good job alnwick keeps clean sheets good job we got rid of sheehaan good job we bought clapham ...i'm dissappointed, and it sounds like the defence/keeper let us down today, but i seriously can't remember having more than howards shot... l really think we needed to have bought a striker who can make something from nothing, i just don't feel that IH paid enough attention to strikers during the TF window, i know we have a few, but are any of them any good. seems like today we were very poor in all positions... i actually don't have a point, and i feel like i can't say what i think in case the FT police knock me down cause i didn't go.
Vo Rogue Posted 2 February 2008 Posted 2 February 2008 Ollie with his team now. A lot more homework for him to do I'd say.
Steven Posted 2 February 2008 Posted 2 February 2008 That's madness. It may be madness but reflects a problem not solved over the past four years.
maddog Posted 2 February 2008 Posted 2 February 2008 The end of maddog's play-off hopes then. Yes it is I just want Ollie to stop moaning about players being out of position, and start actually playing players in the right positions. I mean Hume was awful on Monday at right wing, and fantastic upfront in the Cov game yet Ollie puts him right wing again. Chambers is a right back he was left back and we have Clapham and Mattock now. Hayles can't play left mid either, Bori can play on both wings and he only bought him on 5 minutes to go. Im starting to wonder if Ollie is actually any good or not, or just another poor manager. Gonna have to wait a while though, ill only judge him after the first 10 games of next season. Such a poor result today though, time to look over the shoulder at the bottom few places again.
MikeyT Posted 2 February 2008 Posted 2 February 2008 fook off Leicester. So so disappointing, but what goes around, but its always us that it comes around to. Total dog shit. Oh, and can the next person who starts a play off thread be banned. Thats very fickle. You watch if we win the next game you will be cheering and saying we are amazing!
stevie909 Posted 2 February 2008 Posted 2 February 2008 Time for a lynching.. and its matty piper ever since he began commentating on away games, we are awful. he even talked about it himself a few weeks ago, he is an actual curse away from the walkers. today he said; ''After that early mistake the back four have been solid today'' - then we nearly concede again thanks to a defensive error ''If we lost now it would be an absolute tragedy, but we'll get a point'' - 1 word = dickov
MC Prussian Posted 2 February 2008 Author Posted 2 February 2008 It may be madness but reflects a problem not solved over the past four years. And the question is: why does nothing really change apart from new players coming in and others leaving again? Stil positive, besides today's result. Now we NEED to win vs. Plymouth, or the Relegation Fear Monster will be getting at us again.
The Reverend Posted 2 February 2008 Posted 2 February 2008 Thats very fickle. You watch if we win the next game you will be cheering and saying we are amazing! Yes. Ok then We beat Palace and i certainly wasnt cheering.
Lillehamring Posted 2 February 2008 Posted 2 February 2008 i think what has to be addressed here, is how we ended up (and started) with players out of position, no excuse for that now. ok, we played better in the second half (not that that was difficult) but i'd love to know what, if any, advantage taking mattock off was, and leaving ourselves with two forwards playing on the wing? THAT is your madness! yes, we conceeded sloppy goals, but i'm sure it isn't just me who feels like we had nothing up front?

An Aussie Tw@t is better that a Derby Tw@t. I will also take Pipers job
Tommy G Posted 2 February 2008 Posted 2 February 2008 He's a shit commentator, but some of the stuf he says is comical.. ''I used to play with Rob Burgess with England......................................................Under 13's!''
FleckneyFox Posted 2 February 2008 Posted 2 February 2008 dont see y we always get our hopes up this was after playing poor for 2 games and getting lucky. but hey still 4 points clear. and within 3 points of a few other teams.
AyewJoking Posted 2 February 2008 Posted 2 February 2008 Im writeing to them tomorrow demanding Barbers job. An Aussie Tw@t is better that a Derby Tw@t. I will also take Pipers job Are you implying Piper does a job?
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 2 February 2008 Posted 2 February 2008 Are you implying Piper does a job? An annoying one
City_4_Life Posted 2 February 2008 Posted 2 February 2008 Same old City. I aint going to start blaming certain players, the weather, Barber etc, Im just really dissapointed to give it away at the end and not at least get a point.
WetFlannel Posted 2 February 2008 Posted 2 February 2008 More annoying than every time we get beat is, all I hear is fcuking Barbers name. Its doing my nut in. Either listen to it and dont moan, or just not listen at all. He cant commentate; yes, but we dont need to hear it every bloody minute. We are in a relegation battle, yet we seem more concerned about the music before the match, or Barbers commentary. Well bugger me.
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 2 February 2008 Posted 2 February 2008 Im waiting to see the Ollie out thread appear
