Hullfox Posted 3 February 2008 Posted 3 February 2008 when are people gonna remember that this is an open forum for debate about footy - respect someones opinion, debate it resonably or ignore it , there is no need to get personal and resort to contumely.a little peace and understanding brothers and sisters. Indeed you are right ach, i'm sick of this elitist bullshit, these so-called paragons of wisdom...what tiresome snobbery patronising, self righteous killjoys... this self satisfying hole of miserable anally rentetive pricks. I'm all for this type of respecting someone's opinion, debating it reasonably or ignoring it. There is indeed no need to get personal and the sooner these elitist bullshit paragons of wisdom patronising self righteous killjoys and anally retentive pricks get the message the better.

Ultra Posted 3 February 2008 Posted 3 February 2008 Great day out, was completly knackered when I got back! Blackpool fans really got behind there team and would make the walkers look like a funeral (Even if Bloomfield Road does only have 2 stands!). Really? The fans in the main stand were slating their players for a full 20 minutes after we equalised. It was also noted how many City chants (including those of "Judas" aimed at Dickov ) could be heard during the game. Finally, Hope they stay up. Even if it's at our expense?

Yes but you get that sort in most main stands I suppose I 'ought to re-phrase that and put Hope the same fixture is played next year...

Manwell Pablo Posted 4 February 2008 Posted 4 February 2008 good job we didn't sell macauleygood job alnwick keeps clean sheets good job we got rid of sheehaan good job we bought clapham ...i'm dissappointed, and it sounds like the defence/keeper let us down today, but i seriously can't remember having more than howards shot... l really think we needed to have bought a striker who can make something from nothing, i just don't feel that IH paid enough attention to strikers during the TF window, i know we have a few, but are any of them any good. seems like today we were very poor in all positions... i actually don't have a point, and i feel like i can't say what i think in case the FT police knock me down cause i didn't go. Yes, beacuse by all accounts he was a class act on Saturday
Thracian Posted 4 February 2008 Posted 4 February 2008 Yes, beacuse by all accounts he was a class act on Saturday We had seven mostly poor shots, three on target and created sod all on Saturday, Manwell. Quite apart from our supposedly "better defender" Mattock being so at fault in the first five minutes that Blackpool actually had the ball in the net twice.

Funny, as by the sounds of it, neither did Leeds.
lookwhaticando Posted 4 February 2008 Posted 4 February 2008 Funny, as by the sounds of it, neither did Leeds. Oh no you di'n't!
Thracian Posted 4 February 2008 Posted 4 February 2008 Oh no you di'n't! None of it matters any more. The guy's gone and no-one seriously believes he's coming back.
Jonezy Posted 4 February 2008 Posted 4 February 2008 Just seen the goals on world. If we keep defending long balls like that we better not get relegated, as we will be stuck in League One for eternity... Nice skills by the Blackpool winger for the first; why do none of guys never do something like that... (Okey Hume has his moments....) Trying a positive spin on this now. This reality check should get our players completely focussed and committed for the Bittermouth game, which we really do NOT need to lose, as we would have the Bittermouths all over the place again..... (Our players should be focussed and comitted everytime of course, but its hard to be a footballer these days, you know, they make shit loads of money for doing their hobby....)
Stevosevic Posted 9 February 2008 Posted 9 February 2008 Because we are not good for enough for the playoffs. But Palace had a decent squad that was under-achieving, Warnock has not had to get rid of a load of deadwood and as not needed to buy half a team. Norwich have done well but there still only 4 points above us. That is true but i'm not writing him off yet. Norwich are now four points off the play-offs without spending money on transfer fees, only loan signings. Yes if we win, the difference will be four points again, however they are on a run of form and we are not. Was it really too much to ask for us to be up in the top half and and being just a handful of points off the play-offs?
