Fox92 Posted 26 April 2009 Posted 26 April 2009 I miss the clown. Me too, I think it was meant to be based on David Bowie. I think I read that somewhere.
Libertine Posted 26 April 2009 Posted 26 April 2009 Me too, I think it was meant to be based on David Bowie. I think I read that somewhere. It's the clown from the Ashes to Ashes video, by Bowie.
act smiley Posted 26 April 2009 Posted 26 April 2009 Never watched Ashes to Ashes but; Car nerd time - its a later model, the early ones have different headlights.
General Smuts Posted 27 April 2009 Posted 27 April 2009 Keeley Hazell is well worth a bash in the beef flaps.
Libertine Posted 27 April 2009 Posted 27 April 2009 Keeley Hazell Hawes is well worth a bash in the beef flaps.
General Smuts Posted 27 April 2009 Posted 27 April 2009 Sorry is this an Ashes to Ashes thread? I was just stating a fact. Hawes is worth a plunge in the clunge as well.
Libertine Posted 27 April 2009 Posted 27 April 2009  Anyway, thought the first 30mins or so were pretty wank, but it picked up from the moment the mystery man made his appearance. Can't wait to find out who he is. Edit: Some absolutely cracking lines from Gene tonight.
Guest Bilo Posted 27 April 2009 Posted 27 April 2009 Keeley Hazell is well worth a bash in the beef flaps. Too right Smuts, I'd would ruin that girl.
Fox92 Posted 28 April 2009 Posted 28 April 2009 Got bored with it yesterday and fell to sleep. A bit slow for me it was yesterday.
Libertine Posted 28 April 2009 Posted 28 April 2009 Got bored with it yesterday and fell to sleep.A bit slow for me it was yesterday. It was shit in the first half in my opinion. The rest was a lot better.
DB11 Posted 28 April 2009 Posted 28 April 2009 There was a refernece to Tyler from Life on Mars wasn't there? Or was that a coincidence
Libertine Posted 28 April 2009 Posted 28 April 2009 There was a refernece to Tyler from Life on Mars wasn't there?Or was that a coincidence Yes but it was actually DS Carling. The mystery man might be Tyler though.
Libertine Posted 4 May 2009 Posted 4 May 2009 Thoughts on tonight? Thought is was okay. Disappointing not to have anything of the mystery man though. Can't be in every episode though I guess.
Webbo Posted 5 May 2009 Posted 5 May 2009 I loved it when Gene Hunt ate that bag of chips in front of the hunger striker.
DB11 Posted 7 May 2009 Posted 7 May 2009 I loved it when Gene Hunt ate that bag of chips in front of the hunger striker. Haha that was great
Guest Bilo Posted 7 May 2009 Posted 7 May 2009 I loved it when Gene Hunt ate that bag of chips in front of the hunger striker. You couldn't help but laugh at that really. However evil it was!
Libertine Posted 11 May 2009 Posted 11 May 2009 Best episode of the series yet IMO. 3 calls from the Rose guy and a generally awesome episode. Mac's such a ****er, glad he's dead. Finally finding out who the Rose guy is next week too. :w00t:
potter3 Posted 11 May 2009 Posted 11 May 2009 Yess, probably the best episode of either series, this series has been much better than the first, I reckon
Flynny Posted 12 May 2009 Posted 12 May 2009 This series is much better, almost as good as Life on Mars at its best which is about all you can expect really. Liked his coat making a comeback.
Libertine Posted 18 May 2009 Posted 18 May 2009 Another top episode tonight, but not like last week. Chuffed to finally see Martin. Such a badass mofo. Next week looks interesting indeed.

Next week looks interesting indeed. i enjoyed tonight's too. the future husband thing was a bit predictable though.....maybe if he had his time in the past he'd tell her not to be so condescending to her future husband (and everyone else!)
