What are your opinions on this guy?

Would he be in your starting 11? Would you keep or sell in the summer?

I think he has been a key player over the past couple of seasons but feel his time is coming to an end with us under Holloway.

From what i have heard he doesn't like playing on the right wing for us and i don't think Holloway rates him much as a striker. If he doesn't want to play on the right, get him out of there, he is not adding anything to the team at the moment. Doesn't want to play on the right wing?!! He should be wanting to play in bloddy goal if it means helping the team out!

Its not working with him on the right wing at present and IF we sign sinclair i can see Hume being dropped to the bench with DJ partnering Howard upfront.

Hume has been very poor in the last 3 games and i would like to see Bori given at least 60 minutes on Tuesday.

Who hasn't?

He's scored some key goals under Holloway and he's still our top scorer. We have some good strikers, and it's tough to accomodate them all.

Personally, I'd like to see Hume given at least 3-4 games playing up front with Howard, let's see how well he does before we make any judgements. After all it's hardly fair to judge him when he's being forced to play a position that everyone knows doesn't suit him.

If we move him back up front I think we'll see a marked improvement in his performance and I reckon he'll score for us.

He's not a winger, and hasn't really played too well when he's been played there. All this changing can't be good for a players confidence, it really can't.

Well if we are going to build our team around Howard, and we are, he should be the reserve second striker behind DJ. Doing away with him would be madness, hes much more of a threat than either Fryatt or Hayles.

He really doesn't work on the wing (either of em). I know ollie was bangin on during the football moan in the other night something about he 'should bloody well play where I tell him to play' (wasn't exactly that but it was a similar sentiment), but he just isn't a winger no matter how many times he keeps being played there.

On the other hand I do still think he's a very good player with the right kind of work ethic (admittedly today he had a poor game). Clearly anybody who was watching today would testify that having two so called 'big men' up front was only encouraging them to lump it straight up to them. So I think we should hang on to him but play him in his preferred (and best) position, alongside a bigger striker.

He'd still be in my starting 11 I reckon.

He was extremely poor today - had no first touch or confidence on the ball. Even his trademark bringing the high ball down under control with one touch had deserted him. I must admit I did say to my mate at the game that I thought his time at the club was up - can see Holloway shipping him out in the summer. He has been a good servant but is not cutting the mustard at the moment, irrespective of him being in or out of position.

Like others have said, who hasnt been very poor in the last 3 games!? All games Hume plays, he puts his heart into it, which is more than you can say for a few other players, even if he has to play on the right wing, where he says he doesnt like playing. Personally I do not think Howard has proved himself even slightly worth 1.5m since he has been here, especially at over 30 years old, (proved useless in both palace and plymouth matches!) whereas hume, who is mid 20's, has years to learn even more, give the lad a break, when was the last time he missed a match? I'd rather drop the other 10 before Hume!. Even on a poor goalscoring record, was he not out top scorer in the past 2 or 3 seasons? Dont slate him, get behind him!

HUME or HHHHUUUUUUUUUUMMMMMMMEEEEEEEe zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz!

Is the most overated player i can EVER remember playing for Leicester, and ive always thought that.

People on here seem to love him and i cant get that straight in me head!

Why oh why? seriously WHY!, he wastes every ball he gets rarely produces a final product be it a shot or a pass. He's weak on the ball and tucks his socks round his shin pads so he looks like an idiot.

Squad player at best.

DJ Campbell must be first choice.

I agree, i don't think he is bad but diffinately overated.

He's wasted playing on the wing and needs to be played in his preferred position, if at all. He's been poor the last three games but then again who hasn't?

Lets not forget, he's still our top scorer this season. It's nice to see somebody who shows passion and puts the effort in every game because not many others do.

He's a striker who's paid to score goals so if he's not doing that he shouldn't be playing.

It's time for him to be dropped, whether he throws his toys out or not. He needs to learn that he's not untouchable, and just because he's the fans favourite no matter how sh!t he plays, Holloway needs to show he's got the bottle to drop him.

The last couple of games Campbell has come on he's offered us a totally different dimension. Howard and Campbell up front, and play with some genuine width, see where it gets us.

:dunno:

I'm starting to side with Thracian on the chosen man debate.

Lately, there has been nothing that justifies him maintaining a starting place in the team.

Every time he's started wide he hasn't given us anything, apart from a lack of width. He drifts inside way to much to chase down lost causes. Yes, I know that's what Hume's about, but there is a time and a place for it. If that means losing the dynamics of your team, it's not the time.

This constant messing around with him, Bori and Hayles is ridiculous.

Bori started the game well yesterday, he was involved in a lot of the good stuff we produced early on. But as soon as he was switched that went out the window and he looked uncomfortable.

The time has come where he needs to be dropped or played in his proper position. There's no doubt he'll get goals for us, but not playing where he is at the moment.

Would agree to this, he would seem more adept at getting the knock on's and feeding off a big man, USUALLY having a deent first touch to be able to pick the ball up qucikly and maybe have a pop (oh to see a shot on target...).

But he's possibly a bit of a luxury at the moment. My personal opinion of his best position (for which I'm sure I will be scorned) would be in a 3-5-2 with him as the leading midfielder. Providing we had 2 workhorses to back him up, which we don't, and therefore can't play this formation.

He would probably be our best chance of finding the killer pass, but then we would need DJ up front to have the pace to go past the last defender because we are way too slow at the moment.

But he has been crap recently and it would be more apt if we shouted SSSSHHHHHHHHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIITTTEE when he played another pap ball.
