Raj Posted 10 February 2008 Posted 10 February 2008 HumeHayles Care to add to the list anyone? You think Hume is one of his favs??? After listening to IH's rant about on RLester last Monday id love to hear what h says about players he really loves!
Durnerz Posted 10 February 2008 Posted 10 February 2008 Howard Oakley Alnwick Basically all the newbies.
OnePaulWotton Posted 10 February 2008 Posted 10 February 2008 He also loved Norris, Seip and Halmosi down here. If you're still in this league next year, which I think you will be, then expect a bid for either of the last two.

Ibbyfox Posted 10 February 2008 Posted 10 February 2008 HumeHayles Care to add to the list anyone? Ronaldo Rooney Messi Kaka
OnePaulWotton Posted 10 February 2008 Posted 10 February 2008 that wouldn't be a bad thing Both are under contract though, and our Chairman wouldn't accept a Holloway bid unless it was double the market price. Halmosi's one of the best players in the league, he'll be off to a Premier club in the summer most likely. Seip, if he goes too, will go to a relegated Premier club or a top Championship club.

We could do with someone like Halmosi at the moment. Plymouth are a good club and run very wisely. No debt, no nothing, unlike most clubs these days.

No debt, no nothing, unlike most clubs these days. No debt, no money, no transfer budget, no chance of attracting any player that someone else wants We've only recently adopted this "fuck you" approach to any club that wants our players. Maybe sometime we'll actually adhere to it....yeah right...
Joe. Posted 10 February 2008 Posted 10 February 2008 Ollie clearly loves Hayles, Howard and Hume. Two of those for me, have to dropped for Watford.

Maybe sometime we'll actually adhere to it....yeah right... You need a takeover. That's what you need. But the geographical location of your club is really a pain in the arse I must say. However, if I was a local businessman I would probably have a look at the potential Plymouth have.

Bluemoon Posted 10 February 2008 Posted 10 February 2008 We could do with someone like Halmosi at the moment. Plymouth are a good club and run very wisely. No debt, no nothing, unlike most clubs these days. That is very true. Must be our naive, simple, old fashioned, West Country ways.....Live within your means....play above others' expectations
Thracian Posted 10 February 2008 Posted 10 February 2008 HumeHayles Care to add to the list anyone? McAuley, Kisnorbo, Howard. Clemence, Oakley.
Nationwider Posted 10 February 2008 Posted 10 February 2008 McAuley,Kisnorbo, Howard. Clemence, Oakley. I think that's a little harsh. The only other options in that position would be Stearman (a risky convertion at this moment in time) and N'Gotty (hardly fleet of foot these days). And that's it.

The lack of options is a bit of a condemnation in itself.
