I quit smoking just over a year ago and gained 3 stone within this 1 year period, so i would say currently unfit!!! :S

Anybody got any hany tips for losing weight fast but in a way that wont affect my health?

Eat less crap and exercise (good exercise - at least 2x half hour sessions of high intensity cardio per week - not walking to the fish and chip shop and counting that)

If you drink a lot, try drinking beers with lower sugar levels, i.e. lagers instead of ales

Eat less more often, and don't eat in the 3 hours before you sleep

I lost 15 kgs that way

Keep your carbs low. Protein high and a good exercise regime which you can reseach.

Dont eat after 8pm.

I packed in smoking, forced myself to run for at least 20 minutes every day, had an hour of football every week and two Tennis games a week over the summer and carried on drinking like a fish and still managed to lose half a stone over the summer. I actually managed to keep this going for 6 months, Unfortunatley this it is now down to one 5 a side a game a week possible two and I'm back on the fags. If and when I know I'm going back to 11 a side football on a regular basis, and with the Tennis season starting again as well, I might find some motivation to get back to getting fit.

You mean obsenity rules!!! Or are you talking about Bertha again!!

I liking the resurgence that Bertha is getting at the moment. Suddenly Bertha is back in, collaborating bringing a new retro side to Foxestalk.

If only Bertha could make her appearance.

Where’s Wils when you need him?

Surely general well being is motivating enough? Or perhaps the thought of dying of lung cancer?

I was in the same boat as you 18 months back, used to drink a lot...a hell of a lot - and also smoke. I'm a changed man now, only drink every fortnight really and gave up smoking quite a while ago now. I feel much fitter and don't have any kind of gut.

Also standing outside in the rain smoking a cigarette - who the fu ck want's to do that?

I know its easy to say and hard to do... giving up the white sticks is extremely difficult, especially after a drink you wan't to smoke. People annoy me when they just say - 'give up smoking, it's easy' when in reality its probably the hardest thing to do.

Once you've done it set your self challenges, i set myself monthly challenges. By the end of march I aim to get up to 13 stone, if you achieve it then reward yourself. Same theory can be applied to everything really, especially smoking.

Just found this, its pretty straight forward stuff but it might help anyone serious about getting into shape!

I actually find giving up smoking not that hard if I get past the first three days, thats one of the reasons I go back to after months on end of not doing it, because I know if I really put my mind to it I can bin it again. Also Lung cancer seems to be quite a way off at the age of 23 lol.

Like I say if I feel the need to get fit in the summer I shall aim to quit again.

Personally lung cancer isn't really a laughing matter. Why go back to smoking though if you know you can quit? Seems silly really.

Seeing as your quite well informed regarding mens health, i wondering if you might be able to help with my issue?

Well you see, I've recently found myself scratching my scrotum and pubic bush quite excessively. Sometimes I spend most of the day with my hands permanently fixed scratching away in my underpants. I also find that while scratching and feeling around in my private area, I occasionally become aroused and feel stimulated by the scratching sensation. Is this normal behaviour?

Thanks

NEVER!!!!!

He's right. Either that or go and see a sexual health Doctor. I'd say it's probably down to too much anal activity with the same gender but only you can inform us of that :P
