mkingy Posted 4 March 2008 Posted 4 March 2008 Yes you're missing something. The Fryatt Fan Boy Bias. I have Fryatt on the back of an England shirt... i fear i may be kicked out of his appriciation group on facebook for missing that
RowlattsFox Posted 4 March 2008 Posted 4 March 2008 At least Sheff Wed lost so we are no nearer the relegation places than we were before the game. I didn't go today so can't comment on performance but we just don't win 2 games in a row and we always lose to Preston and Burnley at home. I would be more worried had we not won at Cardiff, the last 2 games some up Leicester. We go to Cardiff expecting to lose but win and then we are expecting to beat Preston and lose.
Joe. Posted 4 March 2008 Posted 4 March 2008 I'm just so gutted with the way the game ended. To concede a goal like we did after we'd practically dominated the game was such a killer blow. And it's results like this that put us further into the mess that we're already in.
MC Prussian Posted 4 March 2008 Posted 4 March 2008 Well done, avoiding my point yet again. I don't care about this keep the faith bollocks, what i care about is staying in this league. The only way we're going to do that is win games. If we don't win these games, at home, against the 3 teams in the relegation zone then we're more likely to be going down than ever because they'll be gaining points on us and we still have some very tricky games to play. PERSONALLY (am i allowed to say that?) I think that we can win these games. Tell me when I've said "we'll see this through" and tell me when i've defended the shit performances. You can care as much about staying in the Championship as you want to. You can think whatever you want to. I don't mind. Go ahead. But you're not on the pitch. You're not Ollie. You're not that Serbian-American geezer who's giving out all the bling-bling (and who's probably pondering exile thinking about what an investment he's done). You can do nada. Zilch. Niente. Rien. Nothing. About it. If these guys can't be arsed to show some pride and commitment for the club they're playing and if they're unable to perform as a team (and the latter point of critique was the most applicable today) then why bother defending them? Am I allowed to be worried?

Tilley Posted 4 March 2008 Posted 4 March 2008 Ive tried all the, "Things will change" - "There's always next season" - "Its not the manager its the players" (or vice-verser) & right now I'm pretty much colse to accepting that maybe our luck has ran out in the championship. I'm actually genuinely worried we are going to League One

All of a sudden i'm defending them.
He's not bald Posted 4 March 2008 Posted 4 March 2008 Bloody disgraceful.Yet again No passion no leadership no ideas no inventiveness no width no motivation No skill and not enough effort. If Holloway is the man for the job he has a funny way of showing it. He isn't able to motivate the players and frankly the style of play is awful. He's brought in quite a few players of his own now and had quite a lot of time with them and we are still useless and perhaps worse than that. Playing at home against one of the worst sides away from home in the league and I can't remeber their keeper having to make a single save. Holloway should be totally ashamed of this performance but i expect he will come up with some of his usual excuses. Come on holloway and prove me wrong but at the moment you look clueless and totally out of your depth. Holloway will blame the officals..who were poor to be fair...however the honeymoon period is well and truly over now, that was his team out there tonight and they weren't good enough, fecking "hoof ball" is not the way forward,it's a bloody disgrace and don't count on the new lad having an impact on Saturday...more likely after 10 minutes he'll be dragged down to the mindset of the rest of the numpties out there and we'll get turned over by the tits..and then god help us cuz we aint getting nothing away to the saints or the saggies!
MC Prussian Posted 4 March 2008 Posted 4 March 2008 Where have you got all this from? You seemed to think it was Hilarious at a perfectly good point and i asked why when i thought it was the truth. All of a sudden i'm defending them. Well, all you do is stating the obvious.
RowlattsFox Posted 4 March 2008 Posted 4 March 2008 Coventry and Sheff Wed who are both below us both have games in hand, even if they are against each other. Sheff Wed's games in hand are away at Sheffield United and home to Coventry, and Coventry play QPR tomorrow night. Obviously they both can't win both games. I'm not saying we are safe by any means because I am concerned but I'm not one of these people that are already looking at grounds in League 1. I think we will win enough games to stay up.
Joe. Posted 4 March 2008 Posted 4 March 2008 Holloway: "All it does is add more pressure to a situation where there was already a lot of pressure. "Some local newspapers we saying that if we won this game we would be out of sight - what a load of rubbish. "We still need between 50 and 52 points to be safe, we just have one fewer game to achieve it, that's all."

kylestyle06 Posted 4 March 2008 Posted 4 March 2008 Well I can't believe that. I believe we are an average side, and don't belong where we are.. BUT we have noone who can put the ball away. We have noone who will dare hit the ball unless they're 2 foot out. I'm worried for us at the moment, i've tried to keep the faith but i'm losing patience. I get so built up to see us play decent like we have done before, then get a major blow... But the funny thing is, we'll all be back to the same shit next week with our hopes up again. I love leicester! LEICESTER TILL I DIE!

Danglo Posted 5 March 2008 Posted 5 March 2008 I'm not gonna go into the performances and the game.I'd just like to say how much of a **** the PA announcer is. As I'm already having problems with my ears that deluded bastard is trying to make me permenantly deaf. Turn that shit down ffs and nobody gives a fook about you 13757 announcements. Make the important ones, yes. But majority of people know we are playing Bristol on Saturday and tickets are on general sale, no need to mention to 25 times per matchday. Lottery numbers my arse. fook off you silly irretating piece of scum. Jesus. I'm off to sleep. The PA announcer is not a ****, not his fault is it really - he's just a voice on a stick reading what he's been instructed to read.. I sincerely doubt he is either deluded, a piece of scum or even a bastard Bit harsh that your taking out your frustrations on him when its our truly awful team that deserve it.. they are far more irritating and scummy

AND THE GOAL SCORER FOR LESTUUUUUUH CITTTTTA IAIN HUUUUUME ... Like we had just won the league.

virtexpne Posted 5 March 2008 Posted 5 March 2008 Sorry guys, sounds like we were as dire as we've been most of the season. We managed all of two shots on target saturday and lost that 1-0, two shots on target tonight and won 1-0. Thems the breaks.
FilboFox Posted 5 March 2008 Posted 5 March 2008 The players must be utterly depressed now... but the fact that they kinda scored 3 goals might lift them somewhat... we'll have to wait and see...
