We was just as bad. Great strike by the way

Typical of Carter that, does **** all for 90 minutes but still has more ability in his left than the rest of our squad put together.

Very rarely do we get to see it though.

We put the ball in the net 4 times tonight. Campbell got one in the first half.

But it didn't matter how well we played tonight. The referee was never going to let us score.

The league want to see us go down. Look at the Scunny and Ipswich away games, and now this. And how many penalties have we been given this season? Just the ONE.

At least Holloway should have the team fired up for Saturday..

He should have the team fired up for every game.

Hardly suprising as City are never in the opponents penalty area.

That's a bit harsh, we had the ball in and around the Preston penalty area for decent spells last night... the players just seemed to have not noticed the large white, rectangular arch at the back of it... >_<

OK here goes....

If anyone blames the ref for that reuslt they are hiding from the plain and simple fact that tonight we were total and utter shit.

Agreed

There goalie didn't make a save all night !!!
No, because when we did get it on target, it ended up in the back of the net. He has a lot to thank the officials for.

How would he see it when he couldnt see players being hacked down 2 yards in front of him?

I really think there is something against us since administration, they'd probably take some points off us if they could find an excuse!

Still think we'll win Sat tho!!

whats with all of the conspriacy theories?

the main problem is nothing to do with referee and the league not liking us (maybe they don't). I'm not saying the ref had a good game but were poor very poor.

The problem is that we lack drive, pace, power and craft. We played too many sideways passes last night. Didn't look like we were going to score for 70 minutes. When fryatt came on he got in the (almost) right place and we had a couple of goals disallowed. Bur it was very poor.

Was in the kop so its hard too see if fryatt was offside or not. Was anyone in line with those decisions?

I am never one to blame the ref, but last night he was awfull..... But...... He wasn't as awfull as us, i could not believe what i was watching.

The Passion?

The Drive?

The Togetherness??

Where is that?

Is it stuck on that training ground and just never show's when it really matter's?

I am very disappointed, i hate to say it but we will go down at this rate. On paper our team should be way up there in the top 6 i would say, but they seem to bottle it, players who have had experience in the Premiership just dont want to know!!!

Ok we have had a dark cloud over this club for a few years now, but we can't keep blaming that, we can't keep hitting the excuse button, let's hit the reality button, we are rubbish, we are very inconsistent, we are not a team that even looks like we will even turn up for 90 minutes and entertain.

The most annoying factor is, last season, ok we were poor, but our squad also reflected that in terms of the names we had. If you had told me this time last season i would be watching, Clemence, Howard, DJ, Oakley, N'Gotty, etc.... I would have laughed in your face. It just shows that no matter how big the name's are, how much of a good career they have had it does not garantee success!!

As for Ollie, i have never called for him to be sacked, but now at this present time i really don't know.....

Of all the gutter performances and dreadful results over the years, this has to be the worst.

If there was a game we couldn’t afford to lose it was this one. We’ve really fcuking blown it. Holloway has had zero impact on this shambolic football club, it’s just so frustrating that these fcuking useless tosspots play like a bunch of incompetent cretins masquerading as professional football players. Unfortunately I’ve got to watch these imbeciles on Saturday serve up another 90 minutes of complete buffoonery while in the process humiliate us fools who pay to watch such utter turd.

Keep the faith - Fcuk Off!!!

Cos i said i'd meet Singh for a beer.

Maybe I'll skip the football.

Maybe if you go to a bar near the ground you wont need to go to the match to watch it, you can sit in the beer garden and hear the Bristol fans cheer as each of their goals hits the back of our net!!

I should have stayed at home and made a start on my coursework.

I went home afterwards and studied tax. It was marginally more inspiring than the game.

I didn't think we were that bad in the first half, but I nearly fell asleep in the second

A message to Ian Holloway. Either you have amnesia or you're a liar. How you can continue to let your team play long ball and negative football without punishing them for it, is beyond me. What exactly does it achieve? You also have the cheek to then accuse Preston of playing it long and that we passed it better than them? You absolute moron. I hope that's a touch of reverse psychology, because spouting stuff like that is not doing you any favours. It just highlights to the fans that any hope of you actually doing something about how bad we are is unlikely as you refuse to accept the massive shortcomings in our performances.

If a team plays long ball football and it works, fair do's to them. It's not pretty, but in this division it can still be effective if played in the right manner. If it's played without any thought, tactics or planning, then not only is it horrible to watch, but it's also massively ineffective. This is the boat we are sailing in and unless we change that, we aren't going to string a number of results together because tactically we aren't sound enough. Sure, we'll get the odd win here and there when other teams have an off day, but if the opposition isn't utter dog shit on the day, then we'll struggle. That's why we can't win more than the odd token game, because the probability and odds of the next team or teams being as shit as the last isn't favourable.

So Ian, if you haven't already realised why we are so shit, then you're in trouble. If you have already realised, then why the mince aren't you doing anything about it? Fine every single one of them that launches the ball unecessarily and if that still doesn't have the desired effect then make them work in Momo Sylla's Factory instead. This club needs to have a launch pad, some innovation. The idea that this club won't accept negative football and that any player that doesn't fall in line with this is bounced out of here. Alternatively, get yourself ready for a summers gardening. It's no coincidence that it doesn't matter who we sign or play, the performances and results don't change. Oakley, Clemence, Hendrie, N'Gotty, Alnwick, Howard all either recent Premiership players or players that got promotion to the Premiership last season, yet as bad as the rest of them once their feet are under the table at Leicester. Why is that? Whose allowing them and causing them to do that? If you don't give them the ball in the right situations or positions then what's the fooking point? You might as well play Penrice and Des Bumchin instead. Talk about a waste of resources, I'm surprised Gordon Brown isn't on the blower and snaffling you up to waste some wedge for the Labour Party instead.

I'm sick to death of watching us play a system that is proven to be as ineffective as letting Victoria Beckham make herself a sandwich.

I think Holloway and the squad need enema's and get the shit out of there system, holloway needs a verbal enema for the shit he talks!!

I'm not looking forward to the game on saturday, i think me and MF are gonna have to get trollied before the game to numb our sensations
