Changing Allegiance

Raj,

I think you should actually read what he's saying. Hes moaning more about the complete wankers that play for us, the lack of passion & commitment, the silly money etc etc

He's not moaning about the lack of sucsess.

I feel what he is saying, I couldn't care less if we don't get promoted. Theres lots of downsides to being in the prem as well. I'd rather see a team that actually seemed like they cared, even if they didn't have all the skill in the world.

I was not in any way having a go at CitySlicker.

He's a decent sort and i can understand his frustration at the Club etc...

But im also saying there is no idealistic fantasy club(maybe Arsenal!) where everything smells of roses and the board etc..do whatever the fans want.

I am seriously having doubts about another ST next year regardless of Division(this, having had one for 15+ years!)

I dont think i can keep the motivation up at the moment.

I do sometimes think I'd be better off with Aston Villa as my first team, they're my second team. and before anyone says it's because of O'Neill they were before he went there anyways. So a pre-emptive "shut your face" to anyone who would suggest that. :)

Although we are horrific i could never stop supporting leicester even if we went down to league 1 i know it is hard at the minute and it has been for the last few years but ah well who else are you going to support hinckley ?

Been down to watch Hinckley 4 or 5 times this season, they're doing worse than LCFC but with a damn sight more passion!! Could it be that both my teams are be going down?!!

I aint in the mood to read much but if you are talking about supporting someone else, dont be so fcuking pathetic.

WE have no god damn right to win anything let alone games.

There are bigger clubs than us in worse situations.

We are shit and have been for 4 odd years.

BUT fans up and down the country watch clubs like Hartlepool or Wrexham(examples) with no hope of winning anything EVER.

If you are fcuked off with it,fine, its understandable, take a year out, recharge the batteries and come back.

BUT you can NEVER EVER support another club.

EVER.

My thoughts entirely. Thank god for Raj.

No. I wouldn't. There can be only one.

I might have sympathies for other clubs, but nothing comes close to this "love & hate" relationship that I have with Leicester.

I enjoy continuing slating one of the worst teams in this year's Championship campaign.

I like your enthusiasm Raj - but I fear that not all of them are as gay as you so you may need some Roofies in order to complete your evil and twisted plot.

There again - apart from satisfying your insatiable, unquenchable big gay lust - I fail to see how it is going to improve performances.

someone forward this to milan or a higher up at city ffs, let them know how we feel.

also im a secret villa fan.

Just think, it could be worser. Take a look at Grimbsy, going down consecutive divisions and now they're playing the likes of Morcambe and Barnet on a friday night!!!

Dream ties for Jamie and Andy right there.

There's a couple of things that keep me watching city through these crap few years.

1."You don't chose your team,your team chose's you"..........why wasn't i born in london,liverpool or manchester,i blame my parents!

2.Something that David Pleat wrote in the program for his first game in charge of us"It's allways better to be in at start of anything, than join when it's doing well" or something like that. :crylaugh:

Aw you have to be kidding!

Are you going to get back on when things go well again...obviously the term "bandwagon supporter" is high on your vocabularly list! :@

If that was directed to me,then no.......Season ticket holder for more years than i care to remember(anyone remember the rumour that we'd swap Gary Mac for Robbie Fowler!!!Twas the late eighties

I Could never change.........Unfortanetly

But at least supporting LCFC over here makes you unique as theres not to many of us.

Read my post again and my replies. Its not about success or the Premiership, its about passion. :frusty:

Also very Ironic coming from someone who began supporting City in 1997, A League Cup bandwagon to Wembley and Sheffield was it?

CitySlicker stated earlier that he was not a bandwagon jumper, and neither am I. My profile says I supported City since 1994, but I was four at the time and my Dad dragged my to the matches. Apart from 1998/99, I have had a season-ticket every year since.

Anyone who does change allegiance is not a true fan, unless we have an MK Dons style move, then I would stop supporting us as well, but however much they hurt me, I could never stop supporting them. It's in the blood, and will remain for the rest of my life.

In fainess, I would never actually change my team. But after the last few seasons of complete w@nk and then to see the lazy and sometimes relaxed attitude of the players/Club its how I feel sometimes.

Despite what many may think of me for starting such a debate, it would appear by many replies that Im not alone in despising my Club or at least the way it is being run and completley fleeced by these overpaid, under achieving Sunday League players.

All I want to see is an Ali Mauchlen, Paul Ramsey, Steve Walsh, Matty Elliott, Paul Dickov or even on a good day Iain Hume kind of player. Get it to em, **** em up, so to speak.

If we lose games to a better opposition yet have still given everything we possibly can then fair enough, that happens but to lose so many games by not competing or giving anywhere near enough is a disgrace.

Show some passion, desire and ****ing fight!! We are Leicester City. The players at the minute dont appreciate that and dont deserve to wear our colours.

Perhaps the topic title should have been I Give Up :dunno: or along those lines.

I dont think it would have got the same reaction though. Its been great to see the real feelings of some posters come through, Raj for example is usually so calm and funny. His first reply was superb, exactly the response I was looking for.

David,

PLEASE let me be bitter and have hatred towards our club.

I dont want you coming along with your witty remarks and making me laugh when i have so much venom!!!

Yeah...im sorry Cityslicker.

I've had some banter with you B4 so i didnt mean to have a go as such.

I think as city fans.especially ST holders(nevr mind those that go away too!) its just about as bad as it can get.

I wouldnt mind if we just ambled along and never had any cause for hope but with MM and his money etc...we should have abit of hope of being mid table surely.

I think you just captured how people feel at the moment and after such a defeat morale is usually low.

I am now starting to look forward to Saturday and 3 points!!!

See how fcuking stupid us fans are???:(

No need to apologise Raj, Its all about getting the fire in the belly again for this Saturday!!

I just wish that the players would get as passionate and worked up about this club as we do, some of the posts on this thread have been great. I dare say that If I had been in the same room of some of them when suggesting what I did I would have struggled to leave the room alive :D and yet If I had suggested it in front of the players I would have got a" go on then, we'll still get paid" sort of attitude.

Think that just about sums it up pal!!!

Keep the Faith! :(
