Ever Been In A Real Fight?

I've been a regular on the Hinckley night scene (if you could call it that) since I was 15 need I say more?

I've ben out in Hinckley a lot over the last two years, less so since I moved to Coventry, but still once a month or so. Quite rough I suppose, but not in the way that you get in the city. Fights at elements tend to be between fat chavs with a distinct lack of brain cells (other people call them Hinckleyites...), whereas whenever I've been out in Coventry, Leicester, Birmingham etc.. , the fights seem to be less frequent, but when they happen they seem to involve people who know hw to use therir fists properly, none of this windmilling nonsense. Maybe its just the places I've been to though. Generally, I'd say that you only get involved in a fight if you are a morn, but then, there are times I've been extremely tempted to give somebody a good hard smack in the face, usually if I feel they have been less than complimentary about my girlfriend. Caveman instinct I think!

All of my brawling has either come in football or else in town after a few too many  .

Once in a footy game some twat from the opposition two-footed one of our players who had just scored. He was rolling around in pain and, as captain, felt it was my duty to stand up for my fellow players. After a head-butt and a stamp I was sent off, given a £50 fine (which for a 15 year old is no laughing matter :D ) and banned for the final 3 months of the season.

And as for the inevitable drunken fracas which occur down the high street between 1am and 4am, they're just part of being a teenager are they not  ? Especially when you don't remember it and your mates show you the videos on their phone the next day  .

There were some rate good 'uns at Riverside, as to be expected really...

I remember one, we were in year 10 (about 15) and a few year 11's, chased 2 blokes (In there 20's).. Can't remember the reason, but they made thm get on their knees, before giving them a kicking. And then chasing after one of their mates.

We had a race related fight aswell, got in the papers like. Apparently a year 8 girl had pulled a headscarf off a somalian girls head, which led to about 10 somalian lads coming down to the school and just hitting anyone really.

I've been "started on" by ever chav in our school, only one ever hit me and he was around four foot tall. I responded by thowing his TN hat (which was placed ridiculously high on his head) in to a bush before putting him against a fence and telling him not to do it again. His moron mates laughed for ages saying he'd been "banged out" by me! Secondary school chavs are brilliant entertainment! Any other time I get "started on" by I just revert the confrontation to a verbal, use a word that has more than five letters, they get confused and leave. Simple! If it happended in the real world mind I'd shuttle off quietly in case they decide to show me their cutlery collection.

There are little fights every now and again at our school, but their is one fight i will never forget, well you can't really call it a fight, a mass brawl would be better.

End of year 9 in 2006, summers day, was lovely. Any who word had got round that the whole of our secondry school would fight another rival school that night. So being us we headed to the local park to see what kicked off. Now saying early that word had got round we didt realise that every boy/teenager would turn up. I must have counted at least 130 lads standing in this feild waiting for the first sign of the scum. We ever had little scouters on bikes ( about 7/8 years old) going back and forth to the other schools park to see how many they had, and she if any movement had started.

So the scouters had come back, screaming their little heads off, so we waited, and waited, and waited, nothing for about 20 mins. So we sent a little one to check it out, and no sooner had he turned the corner, he came back, swiftly follwed by 2 riot vans, and several police cars. As you can imgine we didt stand there, we were off like a shot, it was quite a sight seeing 130 yobs fleeing. For the rest of that summers evening we were shooting down back roads and alleys. We even made the newspaper the following monday. Yobs aii.

That sounds absolutely brilliant!

Anyone with some sort of knowledge of Thurmaston or Birstall youths may have heard of the Thurmaston vs Birstall fights.

Now they are funny.

There aren't really many fights at my school now, and if there are they aren't usually very serious.

I've never been in any serious fight, but at secondary school I used to get into a fight with one of my mates about every 5 weeks.

And never lost!

It would usually involve him walking up and kicking my shins, me looking at him and then twatting him in the face.

Why it always happened, I don't know.

Damn fun though!

Ive never had a fight in my life. I always managed to get out of them...whether it be talking my way out or just plain walking away!

Takes a real man to walk away!

Dont get me wrong if someone actually took a swing at me then its a whole different ball game, i wouldnt hesitate hitting them back, but if its possible to get away without a punch being thrown then all the better!

I think you pretty much summed it all up well there mate.

If you can avoid it, then do.

If someone hits you... twat 'em back!

Tbh, If someone starts on you and you keep walking, they're gonna see that you don't want the trouble and that your "scared" perhaps. Smack em first, try your luck. Then run ^_^

I'm sure Tevez told me the same story once, same school?

Thurmaston :giggle:

Thurmaston is an embarrassment.

Fighting is for wimps these days as well. Or just whoever has the biggest "crew". Pathetic, none of them have the bollocks to go one-on-one.

How old is Tevez? Is he from Kettering?

He is not from Kettering!

He told a similar story about Rawlins I think it was. :dunno:
