Floating Fox Posted 17 March 2008 Posted 17 March 2008 THink Fulham will stay up to be honest. They're putting up a good fight & have the cash and players. I'll go with wigan though.
Ric Flair Posted 17 March 2008 Posted 17 March 2008 Cracking goal by Heskey gets Wigan 3 points against Blackpool - that could be pivotal in their survival. Will we be playing against Megson next season , I hope so! Excellent stuff!
lildave3 Posted 17 March 2008 Posted 17 March 2008 THink Fulham will stay up to be honest. They're putting up a good fight & have the cash and players. I'll go with wigan though. I hope not, another London away day and back to the Cottage!
lookwhaticando Posted 17 March 2008 Posted 17 March 2008 fooking Everton. How could they let me down? There's no way they can consider competing in the Champions League this year, if they can't be shit like Fulham. Disgusted.
Flynny Posted 18 March 2008 Posted 18 March 2008 Newcastle can't score and shouldn't have shitcanned Allardyce. I think them at the minute. If not them, then Brum.
Joe. Posted 18 March 2008 Posted 18 March 2008 I'm going Bolton, Fulham and Derby. However much I'd like it to be Newcastle going down I just think they'll prove too strong in the end.
Simi Posted 18 March 2008 Posted 18 March 2008 As long as we're playing the twats that come down I don't care.
The Stig Posted 18 March 2008 Posted 18 March 2008 My heart says Bolton My brain says Sunderland And Newcastle are in freefall too. It's a real tough one, but I'm going for Sunderland, although I hope they stay up. I'd prefer Bolton to go down (so we can laugh at Megson) or Newcastle, as the fans and the chairman presume they should be a big club as they have a big stadium and a successful past. Plus they should never have sacked Big Sam.
davieG Posted 20 April 2008 Author Posted 20 April 2008 16 Bolton 35 -20 32 17 Reading 35 -28 32 18 Birmingham 34 -13 31 19 Fulham 35 -26 27 20 Derby 35 -59 11 Birmingham 2-0 down to Villa at half-time!
davieG Posted 20 April 2008 Author Posted 20 April 2008 4-0 now, At this rate we'll be playing Brum next season.
Jay Posted 20 April 2008 Posted 20 April 2008 5-1 now and Birmingham have some tough games coming up including Liverpool and Blackburn
davieG Posted 20 April 2008 Author Posted 20 April 2008 Another win for Newcastle/Keegan he's manage to turn it right around and they are top of the current form table with Man U & Chelsea.
DB11 Posted 20 April 2008 Posted 20 April 2008 Not a thread yet?!? Aston Villa Team Statistics Birmingham City 5 Goals 1 2 1st Half Goals 0 9 Shots on Target 1 9 Shots off Target 6 3 Blocked Shots 5 7 Corners 8 11 Fouls 20 1 Offsides 0 0 Yellow Cards 1 0 Red Cards 0 71.8 Passing Success 70.8 29 Tackles 24 79.3 Tackles Success 66.7 51.2 Possession 48.8 39.6 Territorial Advantage 60.4 Villa Scorers: Young 28, Carew 42, 53, Young 63, Agbonlahor 78 Birmingham Scorers: Forssell 67.
SamL Posted 20 April 2008 Posted 20 April 2008 It was a very entertaining match. Does anyone know who Man of the Match was? Personally, I would've given it to Ashley Young. I never expected that scoreline thats for sure. Great win for Villa, they really are on fire at the moment.

Yes Here! Why would we need a thread specifically for Villa V's Brum
SamL Posted 20 April 2008 Posted 20 April 2008 Yes Here! Why would we need a thread specifically for Villa V's Brum I was thinking that. We don't necessarily need a thread for every single game. I think that the bottom 3 will be contested by Birmingham, Fulham and Derby.
lildave3 Posted 20 April 2008 Posted 20 April 2008 I want Birmingham to stay up alot. Even though it would prove Andy wrong (), I want Reading or Bolton down.
Tevez Posted 20 April 2008 Posted 20 April 2008 Reading and Fulham to go for me even though I've got a soft spot for Fulham.
Ultra Posted 21 April 2008 Posted 21 April 2008 Fulham are doomed. Birmingham have two home games left and should make the most of them. Reading have Derby on the final day so that's a guaranteed win for them. That leaves the "ginger Mourinho" and his mob. Let's hope we're around to welcome them back to the lower leagues!
Corky Posted 21 April 2008 Posted 21 April 2008 I would like to see Bolton get relegated and see Megson crying, but I believe Birmingham will go down. Zarate is a quality player, but apart from that, they look poor. They should've kept DJ Campbell!!
Uncle Albert Posted 21 April 2008 Posted 21 April 2008 Reading will hopefully go down. Brum have more to offer with better players and a better manager. Just a shame Brum's fans are not better.
