Mercury offer for City tickets for Hull Game...

Never said you had to agree with me, unlike you I don't try and force my opinion on others. I merely state mine and then be done with it.

It's no so much letting people responsible for "fcuking up folks' afternoons escape scott-free" per-sé, I just find it laughable when a crowd that had swelled in size by around 10,000 due to the offer, a crowd that had been largely silent all game and done nothing to get behind the team for the most-part, start chanting "what a load of rubbish" and the like. I don't think that's entirely unreasonable of me, Ultra. At least in terms of common sense. No doubt you do, though.

I agree with you, the fans were poor on saturday, didn't get behind the team at all. And what made me laugh was that after the game on the radio a fan was moaning and said he feels sorry for the people who have paid a fiver for a ticket, it doesn't matter about the people who have a season ticket!

The fans need to start playing their part like they did at Westbrom and they need to get behind the team no matter what! It wont hurt to get behind the team but by moaning it is going to put added pressure on the players. If we want to stay up the fans need to get behind the team

So it's the fans' fault the players were so poor on Saturday? FFS :frusty::frusty::frusty:

Most teams would be delighted to play in front of 30000 crowds. Hull certainly were.

The club clearly thought that attracting extra fans for a bank holiday fixture might inspire the team. Obviously it didn't.

Perhaps if the players hadn't waited until the 94th minute to trouble the visiting keeper, the fans may have had something to cheer.

Blaming other fans for the current plight is way out of order.

You are actually a tit. A big, saggy man-tit as opposed to a beautiful, pert, well-formed female cheb.

Where the fvck did I blame "other fans for the current plight"?!? I said their actions were laughable in not getting behind the team but finding it within themselves to chant "what a load of rubbish" even though it's doubtful they've attended many, if any at all, games this season. If you think that's blaming them for our team being shit, you're delusional.

I know full well what the fvcking club thought, but it's tried, tested and proven that bigger crowds doesn't necessarily mean better atmosphere. That's not me blaming the fans for what's on the pitch, Ultra, it's me making a fvcking observation which is blatantly obvious to anyone who attends football matches!

The fans had plenty to cheer when Hendo saved the penalty; they were charged for around 5 minutes after and I actually thought the atmosphere was pretty electric for that 5 minutes. I'd have loved it if they'd carried on in that vein. It wasn't sustained though and it died out shortly after the 5 minute spell.

If you weren't so blinkered by your hatred of Ollie and anybody who dared challenge anything you believe, maybe you wouldn't be trying to pick argument with what I'm saying. I don't think I've said anything remotely out of line in this thread. You've taken objection to something you believe me to have said. Woe betide anybody that does the same with you though, eh? Crawl back under your stone, you bore me.

Don't try and act the keyboard warrior because I've ripped your "arguments" to shreds.

The fans were entitled to say it was a load of rubbish because that's precisely what it was. Even Holloway admitted as much.

Stop being so self-righteous. If you can't take criticism than don't dish it out in the first place.

You are calling me self-righteous?! My word you're the most holier-than-thou member of this forum and you have the nerve to call me self-righteous? You're more laughable than our crowd on Saturday.

I'm not stupid, I was at the game, I know it was shit. Holloway wasn't going to come out and say it was a good performance, was he? It's just the principal of it all: a fan who goes to maybe 3 games a season because of heavily discounted tickets sits there in silence for the vast majority of the game as opposed to getting behind the team and trying to lift the players, then decides to chant "what a load of rubbish" when they have hardly seen us play all season is akin to a fan who's listened to the game on the radio trying to rate each individual player based on Jon Barber's commentary. What were they expecting? Free-flowing attacking football? Manchester fucking United?? Leicester bastard Tigers? We're a team down the bottom of a mediocre league struggling for results and we are hugely inconsistent, failing to win back-to-back games in a very long time. We were playing against perhaps the most in-form side in the league who were solidly organised and had brought a large following of their own fans with them. We were never going to set the world alight. Maybe if they'd attended more games this season or actually supported us they'd know about all of this?? Just maybe. But then, I've not agreed fully with you again have I so I'm absolutely wrong and there's nothing true in anything I've said.

I'm not for one minute suggesting the fans who turned up on Saturday aren't entitled to an opinion - you're suggesting I've said that because it suits your argument. I'm suggesting (not arguing, as you lead everyone to believe  ) that it's an uneducated opinion because of their poor attendance / knowledge of our situation made all the more bizarre as they could be arsed to make a hell of a racket chanting "what a load of rubbish" yet could hardly be arsed to join in with songs getting behind the team and trying to lift them. And then most of them left circa 70-75 minutes. Again, that's not an unfair assumption to make, I wouldn't think.

As for me being an internet keyboard warrior, that's pathetic. I'm a very opinionated person by nature, and I would have these same opinions whether I was sat next to Thracian, Standupandsing, Manwell Pablo, davieG, TPH, Ched, Fez or even yourself face to face in a pub. You don't scare me, I have no reason to fear you, and if you believe I'm so threatened by you that I would only behave like this on here, maybe we should share a beer at one of the remaining away games to disprove your little theory. If anything, it'd appear you're the keyboard warrior as you hide behind your computer screen taking mostly veiled swipes at people from the privacy of your own home, then spit your dummy out when you're shot down by some of the more popular members of the board. Bless.

I am impressed that you appear to know these fans personally, you must do to be able to single them out as the ones chanting "what a load of rubbish"!!!

What were they expecting? Leicester bastard Tigers?

Thats about what was played though, HOOF!!! :giggle:

How ****ing ignorant are you! Just because a Fan doesnt go to every game does not make him any less a supporter than you or anyone else.

That is exactlly what you are suggesting with comments like "Maybe if they'd attended more games this season or actually supported us".

I'm suggesting that it's an uneducated opinion because of their poor attendance / knowledge of our situation made all the more bizarre as they could be arsed to make a hell of a racket chanting "what a load of rubbish" yet could hardly be arsed to join in with songs getting behind the team and trying to lift them.

Cant wait to see your fan list of who sang what

And then most of them left circa 70-75 minutes. Again, that's not an unfair assumption to make, I wouldn't think.

I sat next to a 4 chaps I know with Season tickets who decided to leave (for the record I stayed until the bitter end!) as soon as the 2nd goal went in so this argument is not only ignorant its a complete lie.

Your argument, sorry suggestion appears to be based on the fact that you have a season ticket therefore you are more of a supporter than those who dont. Utter rubbish

It was an extremely disappointing performance, and 30,000 people didn't deserve that. All the hype, all the hope before the match and then the players give us that. Hull are a good side, don't get me wrong, but we should have played better than that. Not good enough. However I vowed earlier in the season not to boo the team, I didn't and I didn't join in with the singing. I don't blame those who did though.

We will probably be back to 21,000 on Saturday, and there will be a depressed atmosphere at the ground as well. I will be there, up at 7:15am to get the train, on my lonesome. It is great that we had 30,000 there, but I was frustrated that with 15 minutes to go people were walking out. We probably weren't going to recover at that point, but if you've paid your money, surely you want to see 90 minutes? Or is that just me?

There's nothing wrong with an honest profit. Any business that sets out to lose money won't be in business long. If you're fed up with them running out of food, have something to eat before you go in.

Thanks for the advice, I really could not have worked that one out for myself.

It's all about to go horribly wrong for you then.

Your argument seems to be based on the fact Jamie is a season ticket holder and he can claim he's a better supporter. The bad news for you is, he's not a season ticket holder.

Let's stop these petty arguments about who is the better supporter? We are all proper football supporters, we will never change allegiance, we all want success for Leicester City. No fan is better than any other.

Its the way his argument was put forward. I dont know the bloke personally so I too had to make an assumption on what & how he wrote. It turns out I was wrong and for that, I duely apologise

The breathing I can manage (just), however if you know anyone who is able to teach elderly ladies the art of egg-sucking, it would be much appreciated.

PS. Cheers!

After the second goal went in and alot of the fans started leaving i was actually saying quite loudly

"cheers for coming lads...hope you enjoyed the freebies'

In a kind of sarcastic manner.

I though i'd get a good smacking at one point, until i realised we are all ST holders in L1 and no one would have had any freebies!!! :giggle:

No wonder people were just ignoring me and moving swiftly away.

Boy i am a twat sometimes!!! >_<

Me too - but I was saying it to them as we walked across the little roundabout on the way up to the car park.

I am a bigger twat.

I win!
