Jay Posted 24 March 2008 Posted 24 March 2008 I am listening to it now!! it's not bad to be fair sat pretty well on the first listen going to digest it a few more times as it seems to me like one of those albums that you listen to once and think yeah it's pretty good then after half a dozen you love it!!! if you get what I mean.

Yes I know what you mean I'm pretty in to this now, I love the opening track ghouls sounds different to all their other stuff but sounds really good as well.
Joe. Posted 24 March 2008 Posted 24 March 2008 Yeah managed to get this about a month ago and after a few listen's I liked it. I wasn't really sure what to expect after With Love And Squalor which was always going to be difficult to emulate. But there's some great tracks on this new album, "Let's See It" is my particular favourite.

Fez of Mahrez Posted 24 March 2008 Author Posted 24 March 2008 For me WLAS was up there as a debut album with my favourites of all time and I remember how crushingly disappointed I was with Morning Glory after Definitely Maybe. I have taken to this immediately which is surprising.
joely22 Posted 24 March 2008 Posted 24 March 2008 Completly different album to WLAS and for me, took quite a while to get used to but it's definatly a grower. Stand out tracks for me are: After Hours, Impatience and Chick Lit. Overall, not as good as WLAS but like I said, a completly different album with a completly different sound. And yes, they are hilarious. Anyone hear them on Colin Murray last Monday when he was asking them about the album etc. and they just kept making their answers a joke about something completly random? In the end they ended up playing "guess the animal".
The People's Hero Posted 25 March 2008 Posted 25 March 2008 WLAS is one of my favourite albums EVER. Never far from my stereo. It's just got a lot of energy about it. I'm getting the new one today. I'll let you know...
