He's still a long way off Henry yet.

Yea he is mate. But out of everyone he looks to me like an Henry type of player.

I'll have to start turning my tv up.

To be honest I think Babel's wasted on the left wing. For me he's very ineffective there and you just don't see what he can really do. So mainly that's where he's played this season and so far I haven't really seen a great deal to suggest he's going to be a brilliant player.

I'd just like to see him up front more really.

That there is starting to remind me off Henry.

I can still remember when Henry wanted to leave Arsenal when he first joined because Wenger was playing him out on the left.

Yea you can see he is a deffinate centre forward.

Such a shame Arsenal threw it away as soon as they scored the second. Just a far better team to watch than Liverpool but it's been a few games too far and the last thing they needed was Flamini going off injured when Fabregas was knackered for most of the game. So frustrating to have to put up with Eboue on the right wing when you see what an impact Walcott can have. Best run I have seen for a long long time. I also think they'd have beaten Liverpool over two legs with Sagna, Rosicky and Eduardo in the team.

Probably won't even bother watching Chelsea v Liverpool, unless I have trouble sleeping.

Red star to Steve Gerard for his honesty...

Silver star to Fernando Torres for his turn and shot...

Gold star to young Theo Walcott for the best bit of football from an Englishman since God knowes when...

Since Jonathan Woodgate's stunner in the Carling Cup Final?

It was a terrific game to watch, albeit without too many chances being created despite the goals. The pace of the game was amazing, even quicker than what we've come accustomed to in the Premiership. Arsenal started the game really well and played some great football for the first 25 minutes. The equaliser then seemed to settle Liverpool down and they took a grip on the game.

The second half saw Liverpool press Arsenal and they couldn't seem to cope with it. Just when it seemed to be slipping away from Arsenal, Walcott sets off on that brilliant run - I couldn't it believe seeing 3 Arsenal players in the area against just the 1 Liverpool player.

Arsenal do play some great football but they just seem to lack variation. Liverpool can mix it up, and although Arsenal have used the more direct route to Adebayor and Bendtner this season, it doesn't really suit them as they're not used to it.

I agree with Fez though, the semi-final will be another bore. Rarely do you get good matches between those two teams.

Oh...I nearly forgot...

Anti star to deluded, selfish, self centred waistral Adebayor (who thinks he is Henry's heir) whose antics in the latter half of the season have cost his team more than one title.

Tonight he was caught offside so many times, failed to make the simple pass even more often and fluffed the chance of the game.

And the way he stole the credit for a goal that was laid on a plate for him by a team mate who conjured it out of nothing (Theo ran 80 yards and beat four players) was enough to make you puke.

Adebayor is a great player. 19 goals this season.

And by the way, I want Chelsea to beat Liverpool in the semi's. I really can't stand Liver anymore. Cocky twats.

I used to like them but after the way they treated Phil Neville my opinion of them has gone down a bit.

There is a big difference between a great player and one who has great potential. Quite often the difference lies in attitude.

And there's no doubt that Adebayor has a great attitude problem...

WTF?! He was telling the fans to give Theo the credit. Bizarre eyes you have.

Anyway, that Liverpool game was fantastic. The home team defitnitely deserved to win imo and i'm looking forward to the semis now against Chelsea who did a very professional job against Fenerbahce.

"whose antics in the latter half of the season have cost his team more than one title" >_<

Em...If he didnt bang in the amount of goals he has done(considering he was basically a reserve last year!) Arsenal would probably not be in the Top 10 never mind the Top 4!!!

And to have a pop at him for being self centred....Thierry Henry???...Mr slap my chest when i score a hat trick against the likes of Wigan..but cant do fcuk all in the BIG domestic games( Notice i put DOMESTIC!!! as i realise he's won The World Cup and probably loads of other stuff too!)

Henry ain't the only big name player who has been accused of bottling it in the big games. Up until this season Ronaldo had the same charge levelled against him. And Adebayor will never be the equal of either, not in a million years.

The one thing you can't accuse Henry of is selfishness. He would ALWAYS pass to a team mate who was in a better position to score - he never signed up to the nonsensical ENGLISH bollocks that all strikers must be innately selfish (and then moronic punters wonder why England never win anything when their players run around with their heads stuffed full of shit like that).

One of the few big time English players who seems to instinctively understand the importance of the Carling Opta assists stats is Mr W. Rooney Esq. and it's both interesting and extremely annoying to observe how few commentators give him credit for that. I've even coing my own term for this myopic condition - technical illiteracy (it'll never catch on).

Adebayor scored freely when Arsenal were playing well. But once his supply lines were cut his goal column stayed static. A fair man would place Ade behind Ronaldo, Torres and Berbatov. Going on current form I couldn't imagine any of them spurning the gilt edged opportunity that Adebyor was presented with tonight.

You see great strikers don't panic when they have time on the ball in front of goal.

I don't see you taking back your comment about him taking the credit for the goal though, for shame.

Over rated.

It was a mersseyside derby fans are going to say and do stuff. Just like Everton fans acted with Steven Gerrard.

I think a Chelsea v Barcelona final.

As long as Liverpool aren't in the final. They get on my nerves. Bloody glory team. I have never met a true Liverpool supporter who is actually from Liverpool or has connections to Liverpool

And Gerrard really gets on my nerves. To me Liverpool are like the Leeds of the Premiership - Scum.

The same with Arsenal United and Chelsea with me mate.

Out of the three I would prefer Liverpool to win it because I hate United. Prefer them to Chelsea because of Fernando Torres.

I dont want Chelsea or Liverpool to win it as i cant stand both sides. Boring as hell.

Ive never liked Man United however, 90's growing up with glory hunters in my plastic town. But lately they have grown on me but i couldn't want them to win anything it just wouldn't be right. So up the Barcelona it is.
