I think if your a lazy sod then you will use the excuse of being a bit chubby as normal when you hit 30's :P Bollocks! You can be in the best shape of your life at that age. I know a bloke who is a lot bigger than me (i'm a small arse by the way) and hes a veggie. He gets his protein from whey shakes, nuts, yoghurt and shit loads of cottage cheese etc. So no more excuses Raj!

Depends on what you wan't in life and if you have the motivation. My motivation is low tonight but I'll be fine in the morning. Just set yourself a goal thats achievable. Take before and after pics for motiavtion, just make sure they don't appear on here like mind did :angry:

Without trying to sound like a plank I take it you are asian?

If so theres something you can add to your list - asian blokes really dont have the genetic make up to become well built apparently.

I have a few questions that I would like to ask some healthy members of this forum. So anyone who has either lost weight or has a good body can help that would be fantastic! (Including Tommyg)

1) How many times a week is it healthy to go to the gym...like, will you do damage by going too often?

2) How much weight is it healthy to loose in a week, I was told about 2-3 pounds? Is that good?

3) Can somebody please give me some ideas for food for dinner that is good diet food because I always get to Tesco's before having a nervous breakdown with all the smackheads that are in there at 10pm!

4) Has anybody got any secret, but fantastic hints to help me loose weight?!?

Are you being serious or not, I can never tell? :unsure:

As I've got a spare few mins then why not...

1) You can do yourself damage by going too often but it depends what you want to do? Overtraining will fu ck your immune system up if your not getting too much sleep/rest. I used to go 4 times but cut it down to three at the min but im eating more to try and put on weight. If your talking about cardio then 3/4 would be fine - good luck with that though.

2) How much do you weigh to start off with? That all depends, DONT weigh yourself every week. Do it on a monday morning before you eat anything then it shouldn't take into account the water loss and give you a proper reading. Top two tips, dont eat after 8pm and cut down on carbs but increase protein. Couple this with 3 times at the gym working hard and you will loose weight. If you dont then your doing something very wrong. Also no booze. If you can only eat carbs in the morning of the days off the gym then that would be ideal. Its diffficult though as you will have no energy by the end of the day. Look up carb cycling on the internet aswell that will help.

3) Erm stick with wholemeal carbs and lean meat with plenty of veg. Something like a stir fry will a little rice. Plenty of veg and lean meat. If you get hungry later on the have some cottage cheese on toast. Theres so many variations, just avoid high fat and simple carbs then thats for the best. Theres plenty of foods out there that fit those requirements so do your research I guess.

4) Drink ice cold water, that speeds up your metabolism and can help you burn extra cals during the day. Take before and after pics for motivation. Use unhealthy people as motivation aswell. Don't over do the cardio as its not the most efficent way to burn off fat. Also take as many anabolic steroids, creatine, Branch Chain Ammino Acids. nitric oxide & cell volumisers, whey protein etc as possible. Whack the whole lot down your neck its fantastic for you. It's what I do as I'm sure you've gathered... :rolleyes:

But I'm down to 15 stones now. But I don't look like what you would imagine a 16 stone man to look like. I sposed I have the build of a rugby player, as in, I don't look particularly fat when I'm looked at, I just feel it. I'm 5'10 so I think my ideal weight for me would be about 13.5 stones.

I was well happy with loosing a stone, and that was with drinking! I don't do beer very often, I'm more of a red wine fan/fanatic/buff. But I'd be willing to give it up if I had to.

I have problems in not eating late though. I rarely get home from work before 8.30pm....

Well if you get home late then just eat enough to stop the munchies. Oh and just forget the alcohol all together. I drink water and red bull when I'm out, just get used to it I guess. Wine is better than beer, beer is pretty much the worst thing possible for you when trying to loose weight. If you've got initially a decent build like you say then you should in theory be able to shed the fat and still have a decent frame. When you compare to a rugger player... Are we talking the typical fat rugby player who likes to think he's buff or someone with an athletic and decent physique like henson/wilkinson?

Well apparently im 6ft?! So thats good!

I was 13 stone about a year and a bit ago and had a right good body then . Good times. But pretty much spent the last year partying literally 7 days a week,. so I just balooned.

More crunches, step machine, rower, cross trainer, bike, treadmill, and shit i think :(
