You're having a laugh, aren't you, Robbo? Namaste (other side of the road, 50 yards up) is loads better, I reckon.

Rise of the Raj on Evington Road does everything pretty well, and Harmony on Belgrave Road (not to be confused with the similarly named sex shop on London Road is GREAT

Nah, wen my Mrs lived on Latimer Street we used to eat there all the time. Then I brought a house on Stocking Farm and we used to nail the take aways from there. Got quite friendly with the owner.

The Grand Durbar on Melton Road is a favorite of mine although like robbo said we usually end up in the shamin more often than not.

Shimla Pinks is the single worst restaurant i have been in my life , food was rubbish , service shocking and to top it all of they put 15% on the bill as a service charge !

You know what my reaction would have been

You're within your rights to ask for it to be removed. Places like that piss me right off.

Shimla Pinks is a franchise, and one of the shareholders at the Leicester one is my mates bro in law, and apparently the running costs are really high. So i think they try and fleece you as much as possible!!!

I wasn't very impressed with the range to choose from either. If you don't serve keema rice... babylon will not eat at your establishment.

Did you request it, im surprised the chef didn't offer to make it for you, that's if they have a proper chef!!!!

Actually Keema and Rice is one of my favourites!!

All of those my mrs can make and in abundance and great quality!!

Guys, go to an asain shop and you can buy your popadoms pre cooked, you can either fry or ovn cook. The raita is just natural yogurt with masala, chilli peeper and cucumber\lettuce!!

Bhaji's, if you can't cook them, buy them from a 'dhaba'\indian sweet shop, you will get 10 times the amount you would do for the same price.

The rest you will have to learn to cook!! non are too difficult, your average curry takes around 2 hours to cook though!!

Unfortunately i'm having chicken burders and salad tonight!!!!

You live like a king mate!

Could you send me a recipe for a curry?

Would you (in any circumstance) recommend doing one in a slow-cooker, it works really well for intensifying flavours in a casserole etc?

I like my curries onion based, lots and lots of onion.

Want to experiment a bit though and need some guidance, please, Singh!

Can we have "Cooking with Singh" as a regular feature?
