The People's Hero Posted 29 April 2008 Posted 29 April 2008 No probs, I'll get the Mrs to do me a recipe for 'Lamb Curry', if there's anything else you want to know how to cook, i'll ask her!! Nice one mate. I love cooking. I've got to confess I even ponce about with all the spices, yoghurt and all that sh it on some occasions. Other times, just a jar of Pataks!
Babylon Posted 29 April 2008 Posted 29 April 2008 I've got to confess I even ponce about with all the spices, yoghurt and all that sh it on some occasions. ditto... it tastes better done that way, with some fresh coriander on top.
The People's Hero Posted 29 April 2008 Posted 29 April 2008 ditto... it tastes better done that way, with some fresh coriander on top. In a bizarre alternate reality, we share a flat in Bensfleet with hilarious consequences!!!!
Tommy G Posted 29 April 2008 Posted 29 April 2008 If you like to be surrounded by screaming kids, extreme obesity and bad manners. It does depend when you go. Go later to avoid the kids. And laugh at the obese people?
Samilktray Posted 29 April 2008 Posted 29 April 2008 It does depend when you go. Go later to avoid the kids. And laugh at the obese people? Just cus we're not all manly and chiseled like you!
Mickyblueeyes Posted 29 April 2008 Posted 29 April 2008 I once worked for this asian guy, fantastic boss.Once, at the end of the year as a well done for our efforts he invited us round his for a meal, which his wife cooked. The difference between what I ate in a normal curry house to a proper home cooked indian was amazing. He told me most of what was served in your average curry house you would probably be shot for trying that in India/Pakistan....since then I've slowly started to learn the recipies of good indian cooking and even though it takes a lot longer the results are much better.
Webbo Posted 29 April 2008 Posted 29 April 2008 I've worked for quite a lot of Asians (decorating) and they quite often offer me some food. It's nothing like what you get in an Indian restaurant. When I tell them I like rogan josh they claim to have never heard of it.
The People's Hero Posted 29 April 2008 Posted 29 April 2008 It does depend when you go. Go later to avoid the kids. And laugh at the obese people? You're such a tool. Seriously. I know that most people that spend time regularly in gyms are conceited, arrogant and lack even basic intelligence, individuality or personality but you take the biscuit (and then dust it in creatine before eating it). You're just such a plank. At least when us lot go out we just look at the menu, pick what we like and eat it. You go in and want to know how much protein is in everything and how well it will go with you're 'imacunt' muscle builder protein shake.

Raj Posted 29 April 2008 Posted 29 April 2008 The Grand Durbar on Melton Road is a favorite of mine although like robbo said we usually end up in the shamin more often than not.Shimla Pinks is the single worst restaurant i have been in my life , food was rubbish , service shocking and to top it all of they put 15% on the bill as a service charge ! GReat shout Sparky! also for veggie/Punjabi food to take away goto Guru Nanaks on St Saviours Road(Near the East Park Rd Junction) Top place ...and try the sweet Lassi(which is a yoghurt/milk drink!)

Without resorting to your level and abusing you I'm afraid you don't have a clue. It's quite a sweeping statement to say most people that attending gyms are thick. Theres no correlation WHATSOEVER. I go out like any normal person and eat what I like on the menu aswell, going out to eat is supposed to be enjoyable, right? I think you have the issue of tarnishing everyone with the same brush. I didn't realise it was a crime to try and keep fit? Perhaps it is.. if you ever meet me i can assure you I'm a normal, non roid taking average bloke. I'm not even buff FFS. You just shouldn't get all stressed at every off the cuff jokey comment, it's not good for your heart.

Tommy G Posted 30 April 2008 Posted 30 April 2008 There you go again!Us non-gym users are such scum aren't we! What a strain we put on the NHS! It was a jokey tongue in cheek remark. I just don't think you should have such a blinkered attitude.I'd expect someone as educated as you claim to be would realise your stereotypical view really isn't what happens at gyms. If you don't go then thats your choice, but don't mock people that do either. Coupled with sleezy untrue remarks aswell is what annoys me, and frankly is a bit immature on your behalf.
andyh1884 Posted 30 April 2008 Posted 30 April 2008 Rise of the Raj, Dine India and the one in Oadby above the dry cleaners, think it's called Tumar, are the best 3 I've been to

Coupled with sleezy untrue remarks aswell is what annoys me, and frankly is a bit immature on your behalf. When have I ever made any claims, boasts or otherwise about my education? And I realise it's my choice not to go to the gym, don't patronise me. I get on with a lot of people who go to the gym, but then they aren't forever making negative comments about fat people as if they're a 'sub-species' - as you have done. So jog on mate.

So why do you forever bang on about me taking supplements/creatine/roids then? It's completely untrue. Don't talk about stuff you don't know - do I make false claims about your profession in insurance? No because i know next to nothing about insurance. I made a jokey remark about being obese, but thats another matter. To sit there and tell me you have never taken the mick out of someone that is fat then your are lying im afraid. And perhaps you should 'Jog On' yourself, you could do with the exercise. The only exercise you get is your fingers forever posting on here. Now theres me being judgemental like yourself. So lets end it there
Zingari Posted 30 April 2008 Posted 30 April 2008 Several online dictionaries list the word zyzzyva, a tropical American weevil, as the last word in the letter Z.
The People's Hero Posted 30 April 2008 Posted 30 April 2008 I'll leave the remedies, supplements etc to you.

Bellend Sebastian Posted 30 April 2008 Posted 30 April 2008 I used to go to a gym but don't anymore. I have skinny limbs but a bit of a belly. I don't know whose side to take. Can we just all agree that curries are ace?
