SamL Posted 7 May 2008 Posted 7 May 2008 If leeds are promoted we will be the biggest draw in the 1st round of the cup.Playing a fa cup game before chriggy doesnt seem real does it? I thought we would be entered into the second round?
jumbo mills Posted 7 May 2008 Author Posted 7 May 2008 No the 1st round proper is the entry stage for clubs in league 1 and 2
SamL Posted 7 May 2008 Posted 7 May 2008 No the 1st round proper is the entry stage for clubs in league 1 and 2 My bad. Even more potential for away games.
Manwell Pablo Posted 7 May 2008 Posted 7 May 2008 My bad. Even more potential for away games. Yeah against someone like AFC Barningdale Acedemicals, who will allocate us 5 about away tickets.
Dom_Harborough Fox Posted 7 May 2008 Posted 7 May 2008 Yeah against someone like AFC Barningdale Acedemicals, who will allocate us 5 about away tickets. shotgun 1 of them!
purpleronnie Posted 7 May 2008 Posted 7 May 2008 If i was back in england it would be the one thing I'd be looking forward too, as long as it was against some non league team I'd never been too.
Corky Posted 7 May 2008 Posted 7 May 2008 This is more like it. Proper football in November, rather than a 1-0 home defeat to Burnley.
General Smuts Posted 7 May 2008 Posted 7 May 2008 Can't wait. Right with ya. As long as its not in midweek.
Dr The Singh Posted 7 May 2008 Posted 7 May 2008 At least we'll win it the proper way! More chances of getting televised on Sky\BBC as were the daddy of the first round!!!
Floating Fox Posted 7 May 2008 Posted 7 May 2008 Right with ya. As long as its not in midweek. Was on A saturday this year.... Mighty teams like: Hampton & Richmond Workington Gainsborough Trinity Team Bath Harrogate Railway Ware Horsham Maidenhead United Droylsden All made it through last year....'mon the non-league. It'll be shite if we get another league 1 team though
jumbo mills Posted 7 May 2008 Author Posted 7 May 2008 I think a game on the bbc would be good, we havent played on the beeb since we murdered spurs 3-2 in the fa cup a few years ago
downdowndeeperdown Posted 7 May 2008 Posted 7 May 2008 This is more like it. Proper football in November, rather than a 1-0 home defeat to Burnley. That's right, enjoy the prospect of losing to the likes of Weymouth.

jumbo mills Posted 7 May 2008 Author Posted 7 May 2008 That's right, enjoy the prospect of losing to the likes of Weymouth. a day out by side the seaside wont be all bad
Basingstoke Fox Posted 7 May 2008 Posted 7 May 2008 Oh don't worry, we will. Thats right more days like Wycombe and Leatherhead to come (obviously I wasnt born for the Leatherhead game but i know we lost
isaidno Posted 7 May 2008 Posted 7 May 2008 I think a game on the bbc would be good, we havent played on the beeb since we murdered spurs 3-2 in the fa cup a few years ago I think it's on ITV / Setanta next season
Scow Posted 7 May 2008 Posted 7 May 2008 Just think how many games we could be potentially playing next season. League Cup, Paint trophy and FA Cup. Could be an expensive season.
Sods Posted 7 May 2008 Posted 7 May 2008 Just think how many games we could be potentially playing next season.League Cup, Paint trophy and FA Cup. Could be an expensive season. Will still be a lot cheaper than watching the PREMIER league, and probably cheaper than the championship.
