Good signing they've had problems at right back for ages and he should solve them, I rate him.
SamL Posted 12 May 2008 Posted 12 May 2008 Good signing although I reckon the fee is pretty steep, not like they can't afford it though. Should solve their right back problems though.

The People's Hero Posted 12 May 2008 Posted 12 May 2008 I bet Essien is pleased. To be fair, they could do with another centre back as well.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 12 May 2008 Posted 12 May 2008 Bosingwa is good but £16.2 million? Spose it's pocket change to Abramovich though. Sorry-Just realised that Bosingwa's mono brow is worth £15 million alone. Good signing.
Samilktray Posted 12 May 2008 Posted 12 May 2008 This once again raises the point of Chelsea just going after who ever Yanited are linked with. Although Yanited were linked with him for a lot less than what they've paid.
Simi Posted 12 May 2008 Posted 12 May 2008 Never heard of him, but I now hate him because he has signed for the scummers. Nice to see they saw Chelsea coming and wacked the price up a few million.

lildave3 Posted 12 May 2008 Posted 12 May 2008 Its been one of those long standing links though to be fair. As has Bosingwa to Chelsea. And Ronaldo to Real Madrid, and that just ain't gonna happen is it? Certainly not this year anyway.
dandannieldanok Posted 12 May 2008 Posted 12 May 2008 Good signing they've had problems at right back for ages and he should solve them, I rate him. Belletti's done well at right-back for them IMO, although Grant doesn't seem to rate him.
lildave3 Posted 12 May 2008 Posted 12 May 2008 Belletti's done well at right-back for them IMO, although Grant doesn't seem to rate him. Neither do I. Apart from the odd wonder goal obviously. He will always be a hero to me after his goal against Arsenal for Barca though
Joe. Posted 12 May 2008 Posted 12 May 2008 I hope he fails miserably (purely for Chelsea hating reasons).
