Joinesy77 Posted 16 May 2008 Posted 16 May 2008 Would be amazing if we got someone to actually pay us for him
kidder_wolf Posted 16 May 2008 Posted 16 May 2008 He is a MM type of player so there might be some truth in it but i doubt very much it would be over 500k Maybe if you gave us 1 million and Howard you might get Eastwood
Dom_Harborough Fox Posted 16 May 2008 Posted 16 May 2008 £1 million!!!! Get rid now before Mick McCarthy actually sees him play & re-evaluates the price tag (dropping the offer by roughly £999,999.99) Seriously, you can do a lot with £1 million & Howard's value is only going to drop as he gets older & spends more time in this league plus we have more than ebough strikers on our books to fill the void as well as the possibility of a new signing in that department with the funds raised from his sale. Really hope this is true
lcfc7164 Posted 16 May 2008 Posted 16 May 2008 They were linked with him at the same time as we were. Use the million to get a fast powerful striker? We have to think of this league and let him go FRYATT AND HUME will do the business if given the chance
SamL Posted 16 May 2008 Posted 16 May 2008 I'd let him go for half of that price if it was offered. He's never really set us alight apart from the odd moment so I'd be looking to get rid.
Benjani Posted 16 May 2008 Posted 16 May 2008 Wow. A million pounds Steven Howard. The youth player:O
Flynny Posted 16 May 2008 Posted 16 May 2008 send Barry Hayles to whoever the fook wants him! I'll send him the directions to my place.
Ultra Posted 16 May 2008 Posted 16 May 2008 We have to think of this league and let him go FRYATT AND HUME will do the business if given the chance Where have you been for the last two years?
lcfc7164 Posted 16 May 2008 Posted 16 May 2008 Where have you been for the last two years? Every game home and away, with so many different team managers and 20,000 managers at the walkers, and due to unforseen circumstances , injuries, new arrivals etc they have not shown the excellent potential that they originally showed
DanTheFox07 Posted 16 May 2008 Posted 16 May 2008 Wouldn't be sad to see him go, and Freddy Eastwood plus £1 million would do fine thanks. Go on Mick, you know it makes sense wishful thinking when championship clubs are in line to sign him!
Joe. Posted 16 May 2008 Posted 16 May 2008 If we get £1 million for him I'd be happy. We don't need half-arsed players like him at this club. I'm not prepared to want to see Steve Howard in a Leicester City shirt until we see some actual effort from him.
MikeyT Posted 17 May 2008 Posted 17 May 2008 Hopefully. Then give Kevin Blackwell N'Gotty. & send Barry Hayles to whoever the fook wants him! I actually think he'll be pretty good in League 1!
teblin Posted 17 May 2008 Author Posted 17 May 2008 I actually think he'll be pretty good in League 1! So would howard to be fair.
Ultra Posted 17 May 2008 Posted 17 May 2008 Every game home and away No wonder you've got issues.. Fryatt's been poor under a number of different managers, but has got notably worse during the past six months. Right now I wouldn't trust him to play at Blue Square level. I'd get rid of him first, before Howard. A change of club might get his career back on track.

CupidStunt Posted 17 May 2008 Posted 17 May 2008 Cant decide whether i want him to stay,or simply piss off I am leaning towards the decision, that he can pack his bags to be honest didnt do anything special imo so far (cant count the hatrick against brom,as that might have been a fluke) Overall,if he wants to stay, then i cant say i'd be dissapointed if he stays,he stays if he goes,he goes.........now i sound like dolph from rocky 4 if he dies,he dies btw,has the fooker actually scored a goal with his Head?

Not for us he hasn't. Then again, has he had one decent cross?
RowlattsFox Posted 18 May 2008 Posted 18 May 2008 Says in the news of the world today that Wolves are set to sign Howard, and Jones from Derby for a combined £3m.
Jay Posted 18 May 2008 Posted 18 May 2008 people can see what a fantastic footballing brain he has,and if we got rid he may just come back and bite us on the ass if his "footballing brain" is that good how come he is always off the pace, always offside and really can't run the line and for a striker doesn't seem to know where the goal or his team mates are has managed a MASSIVE 5 league goals in 42starts and 20 sub appearances in the last 2 years as a striker you are paid to score goals and his record over time is simply not good enough!!! oh and the year he signed in January he score 6 goals in 18 Howard has scored 6 in 20 Fryatt was worshiped that season I don't know what the difference is really except we always like to try and shift the blame onto 1 or 2 players and always have. Jordan Stewart for example abused no stop and well we really haven't had a better left back since with Mattock just starting to show potential.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 18 May 2008 Posted 18 May 2008 If we can get £1million for Howard then it's good business, plain and simple. Although he did score six goals, half of them were in the same game. In too many games he constantly fouled opposition centre-backs and got involved in the buildup play so much that he was never in the box when the cross was ready to come in. He would be an asset at League One level without question but we desperately need more pace up front and this is a great chance to finance that.
BigGibbo Posted 18 May 2008 Posted 18 May 2008 A million quid I'll pack his bags for that. A straight swap for Eastwood I'd piggy back him there for that.
markbsac Posted 18 May 2008 Posted 18 May 2008 ill help him pack his bags...sooner the better..fat lazy slob !
