The Doctor Posted 26 May 2008 Posted 26 May 2008 I will once ive won the FT championship fantasy football league If u do that would u mind taking over at city so we could actually possibly have a half decent manager
karllcfcfox1 Posted 26 May 2008 Posted 26 May 2008 They were linked with him at the same time as we were. Use the million to get a fast powerful striker? Lets cash in and bring in some lower league younger talent in the likes of Andy Bishop (Bury) and Liam Dickinson (Stockport) or if its someone in Howard's age range lets not forget a certain Mr Dickov.
Webbo Posted 26 May 2008 Posted 26 May 2008 This £1million that is being spoken about is just paper talk. If we get anything over£300k for Howard we'll be doing well.
Corky Posted 26 May 2008 Posted 26 May 2008 Kick him out hes even worse than De vries during the levien erawe could buy nicky maynard, aaron mclean and craig mackail-smith with that £1m At least De Vries actually gave a shit about our football club
Ric Flair Posted 27 May 2008 Posted 27 May 2008 At least De Vries actually gave a shit about our football club Utter bollocks.
shiv Posted 27 May 2008 Posted 27 May 2008 They were linked with him at the same time as we were. Use the million to get a fast powerful striker? £1M! let him go!! i'd personally pay wolves to take him!
Tilley Posted 27 May 2008 Posted 27 May 2008 He's tremendously bad, But, WHEN Billy Davies comes, he might get 20 goals outta him again.
Stevosevic Posted 27 May 2008 Posted 27 May 2008 He's tremendously bad,But, WHEN Billy Davies comes, he might get 20 goals outta him again. You seem pretty sure it's Billy Davies in various threads, do you know something?
Dom_Harborough Fox Posted 27 May 2008 Posted 27 May 2008 I think if Davies comes in Howard will probably stay which would be a shame Having said that, Davies got the best out of him before.......
Lichfieldfox. Posted 28 May 2008 Posted 28 May 2008 I think if Davies comes in Howard will probably stay which would be a shameHaving said that, Davies got the best out of him before....... He's past sell-by date. Get rid before new manager arrives.
The Doctor Posted 28 May 2008 Posted 28 May 2008 Cant decide whether i want him to stay,or simply piss offI am leaning towards the decision, that he can pack his bags to be honest didnt do anything special imo so far (cant count the hatrick against brom,as that might have been a fluke) Overall,if he wants to stay, then i cant say i'd be dissapointed if he stays,he stays if he goes,he goes.........now i sound like dolph from rocky 4 if he dies,he dies btw,has the fooker actually scored a goal with his Head? NO
Matt Posted 28 May 2008 Posted 28 May 2008 but the fooker is our second highest top scorer C'mon Hume who is our top scorer who has been played out of position has been prolific this season has he? And obviously no-one else has been scoring many, I know Howards only had half a season but still not been banging them in has he?!
joely22 Posted 5 June 2008 Posted 5 June 2008 To Cardiff? Cardiff City Target Big Man HowardCardiff City are looking to sign big targetman Steve Howard, the former Derby County striker, following his relegation to League 1 with current club Leicester City. Dave Jones has tried to sign Howard several times, but failed and is a keen admirer of Howard at Championship level. Howard is a difficult opponent for defenders, his power causing problems but he is also good at bringing others into the game and scores regularly. However, at 32 he is no spring chicken and may be losing more pace. Ched Evans and Jason Roberts are other striking options being looked at by Jones and Ridsdale.
norfolkfox222 Posted 5 June 2008 Posted 5 June 2008 id cut our losses and pay anyone to have him and Barry Fooking Hayles for that matter!
teblin Posted 5 June 2008 Author Posted 5 June 2008 id cut our losses and pay anyone to have him and Barry Fooking Hayles for that matter! I wouldn't as that would be crazy as people would be willing to pay a fee for howard.
