Jack Posted 19 May 2008 Posted 19 May 2008 You must be strong to carry that FAT C**T!!! Far from it, but if it was the only way of getting rid of him it'd have to be done
The Reverend Posted 19 May 2008 Posted 19 May 2008 I dont think he'll go. I dont think this relegation will have done anything at all for his CV, and to be honest, at his age, i doubt anyone would take a punt at over 750k, even though i personally still think he could be a good player in a half decent team.
CKB Posted 20 May 2008 Posted 20 May 2008 i personally still think he could be a good player in a half decent team. I agree! so Wolves it is then?
act smiley Posted 20 May 2008 Posted 20 May 2008 Thought you lot would be gutted about this considering the plaudits he got on signing for Leicester, despite being garbage. I hoped he would be shit but effective, it turned out he was just shit
MPH Posted 20 May 2008 Posted 20 May 2008 I was well chuffed when we signed him. Thought we would be going places for sure with him in the team. Right, lets organise his taxi fare to Wolves. I'll start off by putting a tenner in the kitty.
MC Prussian Posted 21 May 2008 Posted 21 May 2008 Az e gone yet? Nothing on the OS as of today. I guess it's a done deal, then.
kidder_wolf Posted 22 May 2008 Posted 22 May 2008 We have bid £2.5 m plus Elliott for Klye Lafferty so hopefully that deal will go through so we wont need Howard
Matt Posted 22 May 2008 Posted 22 May 2008 We have bid £2.5 m plus Elliott for Klye Lafferty so hopefully that deal will go through so we wont need Howard But why spend £2.5m? You can have Howard for just £1m...It's a bargain, Trust me.
Shrenchel Posted 23 May 2008 Posted 23 May 2008 We have bid £2.5 m plus Elliott for Klye Lafferty so hopefully that deal will go through so we wont need Howard aaaw don't be like that mate. Just take him, goooooo on, gooooo ooooooon.
MikeyT Posted 23 May 2008 Posted 23 May 2008 We have bid £2.5 m plus Elliott for Klye Lafferty so hopefully that deal will go through so we wont need Howard Howard has been sensational for us, a real leader on and off the pitch and a top goalscorer and an inspiration to everyone in the team, you should take him!
Rodders Posted 23 May 2008 Posted 23 May 2008 If he was available for under 500k it wouldnt be such a bad move for us. Ok, he's yours for 499K. Enjoy. If only it was that easy...
Darkzzz_ Posted 23 May 2008 Posted 23 May 2008 Just remember what he did against your beloved rivals the baggies.... 3 goals.... just think he could do it again if you meet them in the cup or if you go up and they stay up ( which i am sure this time round they will)
Thracian Posted 23 May 2008 Posted 23 May 2008 "Thought we would be going places for sure with him in the team." We are - Yeovil, Hereford, Carlisle....in fact a whole tour of places in lovely old England we never expected to go.
teblin Posted 23 May 2008 Author Posted 23 May 2008 Don't think it would be the worst thing in the world if he was still here next season, as long as we get people on either flank who can get the ball in. though would prefer to get a million for him and get a fast powerful striker.
kidder_wolf Posted 23 May 2008 Posted 23 May 2008 It looks very unlikely now as Sam Vokes last night rejected the chance to sign for Newcastle and has instead signed for Wolves on a 4 year deal from Bournmouth. Newcastle offered him more money but he wanted to sign for a club where he would get games.

Super Arj Posted 24 May 2008 Posted 24 May 2008 Knowing our luck he will do himself an injury on his holidays keeping him here for another season. haha
Ozwin Posted 24 May 2008 Posted 24 May 2008 Knowing our luck he will do himself an injury on his holidays keeping him here for another season. Thus scoring the winner in the last game of the season to gain us promotion and become a Leicester City legend.
