Haven't had a bike for 10 years ISH, but got my GSX R 600 a few weeks ago. Oh it's so nice to be back on the road. The feeling is unreal.

Have you jumped over any lazy dogs?

How did it go?

Wish I could tell you.

I did something to my back saving a goal on Tuesday - and I’ve had shooting pain down to my knee ever since. Was hoping it’d fade away, but here I am writhing about at half three in the morning.

So no bike riding. :/

I'm not a biker, but that is impressive.

I actually came on here to ask if anyone has been to the Triumph exhibition at their factory. I live 10 minutes away from it and have thought about going but, as some one who isn't really enthralled by bikes, would it be worth it?

Thank you.

She cast her eye of approval over it...

Yes, the Triumph factory is well worth a visit. Highly recommend it.

The coffee shop trumps the bikes

Insurance day in 21 days.

I've heard nothing from my insurer. They told me that because they don't have my bike on their system - a full year after we went through this bollocks - they can only quote when the underwriter gets back to them.

Amazingly a compare the market returned a set of quotes for my incredibly rare 2022 Africa Twin DCT. I switched.

A Harley dealer - under duress - to buy a charger for my newly installed lithium battery. The new bike has an SAE, Type 1/J plug connector. ****ing yanks.

Changed insurance and got half my money back for a policy that's not started yet - and that's after a £40 fee. Clearly Harley riders are the safest riders.

You get pulled for that plate?

I'm wondering whether to swap mine back to a normal one when it arrives. Reckoning I might play the ignorant 'but this is what it came with' card and do a producer. :D

Nothing like the old days. It simply doesn't get policed anymore. All that you need to do is say that it was on for a show and you meant to change it back and keep an original/legal one. Years ago I'd get harassed and pulled over small plates, race exhausts and black visors, it generally isn't enforced anymore. Added to which, traffic police are scarcer and work according to different remits.
