Joe. Posted 26 August 2008 Posted 26 August 2008 When we went to see Lincoln City that time I remember saying/thinking what a really nice place it seemed.
Flynny Posted 26 August 2008 Posted 26 August 2008 No shit Flynnbobs, he's at the Engine shed on the 15th of September. Tickets on the door Hahaha brilliant, I'm getting a coach party together.
Alexikokopops Posted 26 August 2008 Posted 26 August 2008 Hahaha brilliant, I'm getting a coach party together. Keen. We can all stay at my parents house. They'll understand if it's in the name of gunge.
Katy Posted 26 August 2008 Posted 26 August 2008 The McDonalds on the roundabout right near St Marks (where Toys R Us, Pizza Hut, Homebase et al are)? That's 24 hours now? Somewhere in Lincoln is open 24 hours? Bloody St Marks! The most expensive car park in Britain, nay the World! Don't forget the old city at the top of Steep Hill, that's glorious. My mate lost his two front teeth on the cobbles at the Brayford wharf the day before he went to Uni. Soon everyone will believe me when I say Lincoln is a nice city. If only Lincolnshire was actually accessible. I've always believed you Lex, for some reason I've always had a thing about lincoln I can't put my finger on why though. Bloody hell Steep Hill, me and Cobbo tried to run up there once for a laugh...it was no laughing matter post run I tells ya

Bloody hell Steep Hill, me and Cobbo tried to run up there once for a laugh...it was no laughing matter post run I tells ya Running up Steep Hill?! Foolish! The only nosebleed I've ever had is when I ran down Steep Hill and fell over when I were a nipper. My mum bought me a Mini Milk and I remember sitting down and eating it as a dripped blood all over its whitey goodness. And that, ladies and gentlemen, is Alex's inane rambling of the day. Tune in tomorrow for another episode.

Alexikokopops Posted 26 August 2008 Posted 26 August 2008 Same go for minge? Dad yes. Mum maybe. I have to say running down is more foolish than running up surely. But I was young and naïve (maybe about 6). You and Cobbo should know better!
Alexikokopops Posted 26 August 2008 Posted 26 August 2008 Is Steep Hill next to Wet River by any chance? Ooooooooooooooooh, hark at the fancy Londoner. Why don't you go run up and down you posh named hills, ey?! We don't like your type around here.

I'm looking at going to the Oldham away game. I would go to Huddersfield but i've got a prior engagement in London that weekend. Are you going to Manchester Uni or Man Met, what are you studying?
tbf Posted 26 August 2008 Posted 26 August 2008 Yeah it's amazing, great fun and Sheffield is a great city to live in. Many many good bars pubs and clubs. Sheffield amazing nightlife, though Gatecrasher gone now Two close away days at Sheff Wed and Utd if we go up, also Barnsley not far at all. I went to see Sheff Utd in their Prem year few times cos they do mid-week £5 student tickets. Wouldn't bother with Hallam Polytechnic though, it's all about UNI!!!!!

I'm in Ashburne, wanted to get into Owens Park but I applied way too late.
tbf Posted 26 August 2008 Posted 26 August 2008 I graduated from my master's degree in chemistry from Sheffield Uni last year. I'm starting a PhD in September at Manchester Uni. I'm not living in halls, i've got a flat in Fallowfield with another PhD student. It's above Lloyds opposite Sainsbury's. Being post grad i'm working 9-5 and don't think i get a fresher's week, but i'll try to catch up wth you. I'll pm you my phone number etc

If only Lincolnshire was actually accessible. Tell me about it. Roads a pain in the arse, full of caravans and octogenarian dodderers in Protons. As for getting a train, forget it. No direct trains to Leicester, you always have to change at Notts, Grantham or Newark.

You can't drive down the A46 without getting stuck behind a lorry. ****ers.

Guest Bilo Posted 26 August 2008 Posted 26 August 2008 You want to try the B4114, and tractors. During rush hour, as well. Oh I hate tractors. Always in my way when I'm running late for work. I swear they're looking in the mirrors, laughing at the tailback they're causing as well.

Scow Posted 26 August 2008 Posted 26 August 2008 Only if the day ends in a "y". I like your style. I wonder what freebies we can grab this year? Some of the highlights last year included a free slice of pizza, a Rileys shirt, some chav-like cider, Weetabix, chicken gravy, a disposable camera and mash potato. Well worth 3k a year.
