Matt Posted 27 May 2008 Posted 27 May 2008 Discussing who we want, e.t.c. Let me guess? Caller after caller wanting Paul Ince, or someone else unrealistic Warning - That Glenn Stewart if on who sound like the Birch.
Matt Posted 27 May 2008 Author Posted 27 May 2008 :crylaugh: :crylaugh: Someone wants Harry Redknapp What a fooking lose cannon. Some Leicester fans really need to take a reality check.
Matt Posted 27 May 2008 Author Posted 27 May 2008 And now what is this Glenn Stewart on about?! If...IF we were in the Premiership, We would with no doubt be a comfortable mid-table side... Hang on, We can't even get near mid-table of the Championship, How can he say we'd be mid-table in the Premiership.
Corky Posted 27 May 2008 Posted 27 May 2008 This is an embarrassment. I'm waiting for someone to nominate Thracian for manager soon.
Mark Posted 27 May 2008 Posted 27 May 2008 And now what is this Glenn Stewart on about?!Hang on, We can't even get near mid-table of the Championship, How can he say we'd be mid-table in the Premiership. In terms of attendance.. fanbase.
Father Ted Posted 27 May 2008 Posted 27 May 2008 Is it on now??? Somebody should ring up and say that Thracian should be manager!!
Matt Posted 27 May 2008 Author Posted 27 May 2008 In terms of attendance.. fanbase. People keep mention that, don't get me wrong it's good, and something to be proud of but let's be honest, A good fanbase doesn't win games and we have proved it.
maddog Posted 27 May 2008 Posted 27 May 2008 a hell of a lot of prem teams lost to championship teams last season. Villa, Chelsea, Liverpool, Man City to name a few. i've always believed if we were now in the Premiership we would survive relegation. We just can't get ourselves up for it in the Championship and now probably League 1 to get there
Corky Posted 27 May 2008 Posted 27 May 2008 People keep mention that, don't get me wrong it's good, and something to be proud of but let's be honest, A good fanbase doesn't win games and we have proved it. It's also what is going to hold us back next season. Some fans really do believe we are too big for this league and won't hear otherwise.
Thracian Posted 27 May 2008 Posted 27 May 2008 Is it on now??? Somebody should ring up and say that Thracian should be manager!! I was just contemplating a poll on whether I should apply seeing as I said I would. Not sure I could save him as much as this season but I'd certainly save him millions. a) Smaller squad so that everyone would play a proper part. b) No need to change the supporting staff unless they wanted to move. c) No "unseen" signings or unchecked agent recommendations. d) No big pay-off if MM wielded his axe on me - just compensation based on points won as a percentage of the season.
maddog Posted 27 May 2008 Posted 27 May 2008 Billy Davies Paul Ince Steve Walsh Sam Allardyce Simon Grayson Avram Grant Darren Ferguson Any of them please. Guy on radio now shut up we Walshy Walshy should definately be given some sort of coaching role, or be allowed in the changing rooms during games to motivate the players. Now we are in League 1 it's the perfect place for Walsh to start learning.
Father Ted Posted 27 May 2008 Posted 27 May 2008 I was just contemplating a poll on whether I should apply. Please. I think you should apply. You'd easily get the job. Milan's stupid enough
Corky Posted 27 May 2008 Posted 27 May 2008 Why do people keep saying we need a former player in charge? Walshie, Gerry, Muzzy. They have no real experience as a coach. Frank Burrows is the man for the job
Father Ted Posted 27 May 2008 Posted 27 May 2008 Why do people keep saying we need a former player in charge? Walshie, Gerry, Muzzy. They have no real experience as a coach.Frank Burrows is the man for the job No, Thracian is the man for the job
Corky Posted 27 May 2008 Posted 27 May 2008 No, Thracian is the man for the job You've got to have Frank and his cap in there. Him and Thrac then P.S. Walshie was a footballer, not a coach.
Father Ted Posted 27 May 2008 Posted 27 May 2008 You've got to have Frank and his cap in there. Him and Thrac then P.S. Walshie was a footballer, not a coach. The Golden Oldies Thracian can be manager and Burrows assistant
maddog Posted 27 May 2008 Posted 27 May 2008 You've got to have Frank and his cap in there. Him and Thrac then P.S. Walshie was a footballer, not a coach. Gareth Southgate was a footballer, not a coach.
City fan @ Aston Uni Posted 27 May 2008 Posted 27 May 2008 Sam Allardyce have a word!! As if he would come here!
maddog Posted 27 May 2008 Posted 27 May 2008 Come on Milan, middle of June is almost 3 weeks away. Get the man in, in the next week.
turkish14 Posted 27 May 2008 Posted 27 May 2008 It's also what is going to hold us back next season. Some fans really do believe we are too big for this league and won't hear otherwise. we are to big for this league, our history, fanbase, trophies suggest we are a mid to lower premiership team.however the reality currently is that we're underperforming, and next season is going to be a major battle.if your point is that it wont be a breeze then i think the vast majority of fans would agree.
MikeyT Posted 27 May 2008 Posted 27 May 2008 Come on Milan, middle of June is almost 3 weeks away.Get the man in, in the next week. Agree, the longer it takes to get a new manager obviously the more time it takes to get players in and out! We may miss out on some good players in that time!
Corky Posted 27 May 2008 Posted 27 May 2008 This guy wants Jaggart in charge. What's wrong with Terry Jaggart?
MikeyT Posted 27 May 2008 Posted 27 May 2008 What's wrong with Terry Jaggart? Hahahaha, or ummm Dilly Bavies maybe?
