I can't wait until the appointment to place on record that I never supported the decision to employ [name of future manager] and hold serious reservations about his ability to do the job. As far as I am concerned I would much rather we have employed [one name from a long stupid list of managers out of our grasp] as only he could have unified such a disunited and hopeless squad.

By all account [name of future manager] has already lost the changing room, the training ground and his car keys. [name of future manager] is out of his depth at this level and has not demonstrated any understanding of tactical awareness since joining us.

You have to wonder whether [name of future manager] has even bothered to read this forum because he obviously hasn't listened to my repeated calls for [long list of Champions League players] to be signed, I hold fears that he is clueless in the transfer market and will only recruit players like Fryatt.

Only yesterday, I waved a pair of shoes at [name of future manager] and he just looked at me blankly.

I've had enough - it's time for [name of future manager] to go!

Lovely template.

It's going to happen - there's going to be a huge sound of toys being thrown from prams when the announcement is made when people realise Jol isn't coming. Then there'll be a thread saying something like "He wasn't my first choice but let's just get behind the manager and City"

Then Thracian will post a thread about attacking football, playing the youth team/Sheehan and why the new manager will make a big mistake not to follow his advice.

Then we will lose the opening game of the season and all hell will break loose again.

Templates and automatic responses would make this forum a much better place.

When I grow up to be an admin, I'm hacking into davieG's account so that every time he posts, it plays Don't Worry Be Happy by Bobby McFerrin through his speakers until he edits it to something cheerful.

Ha, Ha except I don't have my speakers switched on - your plan to spoil my misery is in ruins! So I'm happy.

Catch 22

Dear [poster],

Thank you for adding something to this thread, it made me [laugh/cry/pray for a lab virus to wipe out that part of your town]. I have added [your birthday to my calendar/you to my friends list/your name to the list of people I plan on mailing dog excrement to (including Simon Hughes, Stephen Hughes and Nerys Hughes)].

I look forward to [meeting you/reading your future posts/cutting my cock off, splitting it in two and taping the halves over my eyes to prevent me from ever suffering one of your posts again].

Yours, etc.

You must have absolutely tiny eyes.

I'm a realist with pretensions to idiocy.

I'm not predicting us to walk the league, or even obtain promotion in the first season - and so I'll not be one of the supporters demanding the head of the manager after five games or bemoaning our plight after 10...but you just know it's going to happen ~ it's what City fans do.

I'm going to continue to harp on about early nineties Leicester City nothings.

It's so true.

The thing is we all know it will happen and probably know some people that will do it but when it kicks off and the Mockery postbag special is in full swing we'll sound like the minority again. Someone shopuld put up a sweepstake about number of weeks before the first "sack him!" shouts are heard.

All hail Daggers and the voices of reason

But whoever we get appointed, we need to get behind him! Theres no point gobbing off about it, we need to give whoever our manager will be the full backing and supporting so he will feel comfortable! Gobbing off will not help things. :scarf::scarf::scarf::scarf:
