Tilley Posted 12 June 2008 Posted 12 June 2008 Ahhh It's great, If only Milan was putting all his effort into finding us a new manager
Maybes Posted 12 June 2008 Posted 12 June 2008 Mandaric is now starting to test me. He is a complete nutjob. I have now realised.
DBEightyFive Posted 12 June 2008 Posted 12 June 2008 Statement on OS Unveiling Lee Hoos as new CEO after Aldridge stepped down of his own accord (yeah right)!!
Mark Posted 12 June 2008 Posted 12 June 2008 It's a task for Milan choosing the right chief exec nevermind a manager for a football club, staggering.
Leicester Lass Posted 12 June 2008 Posted 12 June 2008 Mandaric is now starting to test me. He is a complete nutjob. I have now realised. He replaces Paul Aldridge, who has stepped down of his own accord to pursue another business opportunity.
Maybes Posted 12 June 2008 Posted 12 June 2008 Statement on OSUnveiling Lee Hoos as new CEO after Aldridge stepped down of his own accord (yeah right)!! Blimey. That was quick for the OS. Its all happening so quickly. Aaaaaah
lookwhaticando Posted 12 June 2008 Posted 12 June 2008 HAHAHAHA! It started with the chief scout who lasted barely a couple of months. And then the manager(s) who all lasted for a brief spell each. And now the executive team is the next onto the patented Mandaroundabout. Who's next? Oddly enough, I think Mandaric himself is in the only position which has yet to be given a spin.
Simi Posted 12 June 2008 Posted 12 June 2008 Whether it's of his own accord or not. It's ridiculous to have someone leaving so quick after joining. Ridiculous.
Bellend Sebastian Posted 12 June 2008 Posted 12 June 2008 We hate Aldridge because anyone associated with the club that wears a suit but isn't the manager is by default evil and not to be trusted and surely only in it for the money of which he far more than us. And he's slightly portly as well! The nerve of the man. Let's build a wickerman
Babylon Posted 12 June 2008 Posted 12 June 2008 Aldridge probably had the wage reduction clause in his contract... probably felt it wasn't worth the hassle and could get more elsewhere.
lookwhaticando Posted 12 June 2008 Posted 12 June 2008 What will you do with your sig now Babylon... you've only had it a few days.
dandannieldanok Posted 12 June 2008 Posted 12 June 2008 Why did Mandaric feel the urge to have a picture of himself flanked by the incoming and outgoing CEO, ludicrous!
Ric Flair Posted 12 June 2008 Posted 12 June 2008 This doesn't bother me one bit. If Aldridge was sacked, I doubt it he'd have stuck around for pictures with the new guy
lookwhaticando Posted 12 June 2008 Posted 12 June 2008 This doesn't bother me one bit. If Aldridge was sacked, I doubt it he'd have stuck around for pictures with the new guy   Every seat at LCFC is a hot seat... Aldridge hadn't even gotten out of his before Hoos attempted to plant his cheeks on it.
Bellend Sebastian Posted 12 June 2008 Posted 12 June 2008 Why did Mandaric feel the urge to have a picture of himself flanked by the incoming and outgoing CEO, ludicrous! Let's go down to the Walkers and slaughter them all RIGHT NOW
lildave3 Posted 12 June 2008 Posted 12 June 2008 **** me. I wasn't too fond of the guy, but that's ridiculous. He's only been here a few hours.
lookwhaticando Posted 12 June 2008 Posted 12 June 2008 In times like these, you have to ask yourself... What would Tim do?
Fox in a Box Posted 12 June 2008 Posted 12 June 2008 http://www.lcfc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/Lates...1327359,00.html Leicester City are today delighted to announce the appointment of Lee Hoos as Chief Executive Officer with immediate effect. Hoos brings a wealth of experience to the Foxes, having previously held the post at both Fulham and Southampton. He replaces Paul Aldridge, who has stepped down of his own accord to pursue another business opportunity. Chairman Milan Mandaric said: "I am extremely pleased to unveil Lee as our new Chief Executive. "He has ten years of experience in the industry under his belt and he is someone who has impressed me greatly when our paths have crossed in the past. "This promises to be a very exciting time for the club and I am confident that Lee will be a great asset to us in our quest for promotion." Hoos added: "This is an excellent club with a fantastic infrastructure and I am delighted to be here. "Upon leaving Southampton I was approached by a number of clubs - but as soon as I was aware of the interest from Leicester my mind was made up. "I know all too well from my time with Fulham what a difficult division this is to get out of, but together I am confident that we can get this club moving in the right direction once again. "In Mohammed Al-Fayed I worked with an incredibly driven and passionate man and I see all of those qualities and more in Milan. I'm really looking forward to the challenge that lies ahead." Hoos (left) replaces Aldridge (right) Mandaric also paid tribute to the departing Aldridge. He said: "I would like to place on record my sincere thanks to Paul for all of his efforts during what has been a very difficult period for the club. He goes with our very best wishes. I am sure he will be successful in his new project and will remain a friend to both myself and Leicester City." Aldridge added: "I have thoroughly enjoyed my short time at Leicester City. There are few owners in football with the passion and commitment of Milan Mandaric. I wish him and the club every success for the future. "I have known Lee for 10 years and had no hesitation in recommending him to Milan as my replacement. This club is blessed with some great people and I am confident they will ensure the stay in League One will be a short one." Paul will speak further on the website prior to handing over the reins to Lee.
