Did he last longer than that Don Mackay who came and went last summer? (I know they weren't in the same jobs btw)

Paul Aldridge: Jan 28, 2008 to Jun 12, 2008. Just shy of six months.

Don Mackay: Jun 4, 2007 to Jul 19, 2007. About six weeks.

I can see it now -

Milan kicking cans down the street wondering what to do about Aldridge leaving when, from just around the corner, walks former Fulham and Southampton Exec Lee Hoo's!

Exactly how it happened

Thought the same myself.

Would be a far better shout than Gregory IMO. This all must have been going on for the last few days. Hopefully the new guy can influence Mad Mandy, especially if Gregory is in line for the job.

So expect to see a spread in the Mockery soon, explaining how relegation was really down to Prince Philip and MI5...

Hahaha, played.

Just me who honestly believes their story? Doesn't seem off to me.

Actually, this could all be very calculated.

Milan was going through some trouble at the time Aldridge was appointed, with Pompey and some bad dealings. Perhaps he was bought in to sort some of Milan's shite out, then when he'd done that. He pissed off, all part of a plan.

Possibly...

Maybe there's no reason at all to suspect the story given since Aldridge seems happy enough being photographed with someone he's apparantly suggested takes over from him.

I took the liberty of adding an undertitle to this thread. I'm cool.

Well surely any sort of businessman doesn't start a new long term plan if he thinks he might want to veer off sometime in the near future. With Mandaric and Leicester, nothing is ever black and white I feel.

Yeah i was thinking there may be more to this?

Could be that a new manager would not work with Aldridge/wants to work with Hoooooooo's?

Maybe i've been watching too many consipiracy documentaries

Whats the big deal?

I don't know. The world's gone mental. A suit that we know very little about has left to be replaced by another suit that we know very little about.

95% of people on here won't know what a Chief Executive even does. I certainly don't

"I have known Lee for 10 years and had no hesitation in recommending him to Milan as my replacement. This club is blessed with some great people and I am confident they will ensure the stay in League One will be a short one."

He thinks we're going down to League Two and has jumped quickly!

With all the sackings, mutual consents and departures it makes one wonder - Hoos next?

He comes and shakes your hand and thanks you for coming to away games.

You can’t blame Milan really. I wouldn’t want to have to look at the dangling bulbous blob around that chin every day. I’d soon develop the urge to either squeeze it or just slap it around, but that wouldn’t seem very professional. I’m just waiting for the cycling bears and monkey trapezists to arrive next.
