I'd probably be elated right about now if I was Turkish, fair play, climactic endings are always fantastic. But it doesn't make great neutral football, really. The Germany Turkey game will be wank, and the prospect of Turkey in the final doesn't interest me at all. What I want to know, though, is whether they'll have a team left to play Germany? I didn't think Croatia were particularly brilliant. Also played one up top. Wasted a couple of decent chances and that was about it. I love the battling qualities of the Turks. Don't get me wrong, Germany will stroll the semi. But nights like that are what football is all about. I still found lots of things interesting about that game regardless of the lack of chances for either side - but that finish got me out of my chair which is more than I can say for most games. Superb drama.

Have a bad feeling I may have chucked it with it being on the same sheet as France to win If you can provide time of purchase and handwritting there shouldnt be no problem getting your winnings back if they do win the tournement.

Croatia weren't exactly putting Rustu under siege. Turkey might not have played well enough to "deserve" to win, but they weren't poor enough to "deserve" to lose and they were the better team in extra time. The Aston Villa camp said that Leicester were boring and refused to cross the half-way line; today, I saw two teams that just sucked when they crossed their opponents' penalty areas.

I'm already furious that they've thrown out good footballing sides with their dreadful football, so they'd better show up in this semi final and give those Germans a proper game!!

I'm already furious that they've thrown out good footballing sides with their dreadful football, so they'd better show up in this semi final and give those Germans a proper game!! Although I do enjoy watching Turkey's late fightbacks, I'd rather the final be more of a spectacle, but not sure whether two teams of higher quality would cancel each other out. Perhaps in the semis they won't be so defensive. Hope so anyway, if they have enough eligible players to field an XI.
