It does my head in when players come to this club, try, get treated like shit by the manager, and the fans alike, when all they want to do is play football... On some occasions, this isnt true, but a good example would be paul henderson, he got messed about, treated like shit, the fans got on his back, then after all that he come back and shone like he did, now everyone loves him. Maybury isnt a bad player at all, Id much rather see him playing here than the likes of Cort, Kaebi, Newton (Glad those are gone)... Id choose maybury over a lot of our current players too... When he came on for the first time in ages at chelsea in the carling cup, central midfield, he didnt do bad at all, Better than a lot of the other players we have...

I don't love Henderson.

He's crap.

Calderwood also revealed that Leicester defender Alan Maybury remains a major target, but conceded that he may miss out on the Republic of Ireland international as the player is still under contract with the Foxes.

"The problem with Alan is he is still under contract at Leicester and he will be until the end of July," he said.

"I don't think he will rip up his contract there just yet."

You've got to remember that was one good performance. A lot of our players played well that night against Chelsea, yet we still got relegated.

Maybury may have played well that night but it doesn't make up for all the bad performances.

But with only a month left on his contract doesn't that mean he can talk and sign a contract for another club?

I thought with 6 months left on a contract clubs could speak to players?!

C'Mon - Take him of our hands - Guarantee we won't be continuing with his services.

Wouldnt be a bad player in league 1. he did alright in the championship just never got a real chance.

I agree, he should be kept on with a monthly contract and given the chance to prove himself.

well i never thought would hear that especially when MA brought in 12 right backs lol

what about chambers? would be fantastic in this division, always thought he was good! just not in midfield lol

then we have lee cox the academy lad, meant to be a good talent.

i was going to say bruno aswell but id rather he left the club, he must be on an absolute tonne every week!

p.s. i just went on to the O.S to see if id missed anybody and realised some of the potential talent we have, sheehan, beswick, gradel, weso, worley! and theres others id forgotten about like little levi who'd be ok in this division and andy king aswell! i think all we need to do this summer is bring in a hard working striker (liam dickinson please lol:whistle::whistle::whistle: ) and a leader/captaining midfielder(maybe 2 lol)!

oh and maybe a back up right mid for when gradel gets tired of scoring 50 goals!:scarf:

lol Love that picture and pun with Dj, what A GOON!
