Darkzzz_ Posted 20 June 2008 Posted 20 June 2008 Yes MY email was read out!! Nathan from Kettering Cracking email as they said!!
Jonezy Posted 20 June 2008 Posted 20 June 2008 I think Stringer isn't bad. He is the new Barber? Massive improvement, even though he is a MK Dons man or is he? No more frickin Barber. Maybe him leaving was actually the real turning point of our fortunes.....
Webbo Posted 20 June 2008 Posted 20 June 2008 The way Hoos was bigging up Pearson you wonder why he was part of the board that let him go.
Ultra Posted 20 June 2008 Posted 20 June 2008 At least Glenn Gobsh!te wasn't on there tonight. That's because he was busy putting the knife into Pearson on East Midlands Today..
SamL Posted 20 June 2008 Posted 20 June 2008 The way Hoos was bigging up Pearson you wonder why he was part of the board that let him go. I suppose they had to if they couldn't afford to keep him?
Ultra Posted 20 June 2008 Posted 20 June 2008 The way Hoos was bigging up Pearson you wonder why he was part of the board that let him go. Perhaps because the same board dumped him afterwards... Obviously their faces didn't fit once Rupert Lowe had come back. Lowe almost makes Mandaric look modest and sane.
Corky Posted 20 June 2008 Posted 20 June 2008 At least Glenn Gobsh!te wasn't on there tonight. That's because he was busy putting the knife into Pearson on East Midlands Today.. Really? What was he saying?
Ajax Treesdown Posted 20 June 2008 Posted 20 June 2008 I think Stringer isn't bad. Ian Stringer Tell him then!!!!!!!!!
Ultra Posted 20 June 2008 Posted 20 June 2008 Really? What was he saying? Basically Gobsh!te couldn't believe we'd sunk so low as to appoint Nigel Pearson, and that his appointment signalled the club had no ambition. The sneer in his voice was unmistakeable. Why the beeb treat him as a spokesperson for fans is one of the great mysteries of our age.

Why the beeb treat him as a spokesperson for fans is one of the great mysteries of our age. What a tosspot. I hope Nigel shoves those comments back down his throat. He is no spokesperson for the fans, the only reason the BBC have him on is because they want people to spend an hour working out if he is the Birch or not.
Webbo Posted 20 June 2008 Posted 20 June 2008 Basically Gobsh!te couldn't believe we'd sunk so low as to appoint Nigel Pearson, and that his appointment signalled the club had no ambition. Sounds about right to me.
Ultra Posted 20 June 2008 Posted 20 June 2008 Sounds about right to me. Shame Hughes, Mourinho and Scolari were already spoken for, wasn't it?
Webbo Posted 20 June 2008 Posted 20 June 2008 Glad to see that your favourite smilie is getting another outing. I've been looking through some of the who do you want as manager threads and I can't find a single person who desperately wanted Pearson. If you honestly believe that Pearson is the best man we could attract then you're being a lot more negative than me.
Ultra Posted 20 June 2008 Posted 20 June 2008 The simple fact is that many of the names that have been touted for the job in recent weeks were NOT AVAILABLE. And the chairman was unwilling to shell out yet again for a compensation package. For any so-called supporter to appear on live TV and slaughter a manager in the way GG did tonight was WAY out of order. It doesn't help the fans or the club in any way, shape or form.
Flynny Posted 20 June 2008 Posted 20 June 2008 Shame Hughes, Mourinho and Scolari were already spoken for, wasn't it? Yeah but what about Grant, McLaren and Allardyce!?!?!?!

I'm loving the all-new Ultra. Humour in one thread, common sense in the next. This really is going to be a great season!
Thracian Posted 20 June 2008 Posted 20 June 2008 Seems like Pearson may give youth a chance, which is encouraging Let's hope his words aren't as empty or forked as Holloway's. Not that I think they could be.
Corky Posted 20 June 2008 Posted 20 June 2008 Let's hope his words aren't as empty or forked as Holloway's. Not that I think they could be. Pearson doesn't seem like a bullshitter to me. The Southampton fan said he gave youth a chance, so hopefully he will try out Gradel and Beswick among others next season.
StroudFox Posted 20 June 2008 Posted 20 June 2008 Let's hope his words aren't as empty or forked as Holloway's. Not that I think they could be. you have come back then?!! I thought people said you had left and ween't coming back!!
