morris1234 Posted 30 June 2008 Posted 30 June 2008 we were rumoured to have bid for him and now this has happened. http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11719_3758392,00.html so it could very well be us still on to sign him up!
morris1234 Posted 30 June 2008 Author Posted 30 June 2008 I'd prefer Keith Gillespie sad to say it but i would aswell!
Jimmy Posted 30 June 2008 Posted 30 June 2008 S****horpe had a 400k bid rejected, I wouldn't want to pay more then that for him
Sods Posted 30 June 2008 Posted 30 June 2008 S****horpe had a 400k bid rejected, I wouldn't want to pay more then that for him No they didn't.
SamL Posted 30 June 2008 Posted 30 June 2008 S****horpe had a 400k bid rejected, I wouldn't want to pay more then that for him S****horpe were interested but when they heard another club made a bid of £400k that was rejected, they pulled out.
Jimmy Posted 30 June 2008 Posted 30 June 2008 S****horpe were interested but when they heard another club made a bid of £400k that was rejected, they pulled out. well my point still stands then a bid of 400k was rejected and we shouldn't pay more then that
Bert Posted 30 June 2008 Posted 30 June 2008 well my point still stands then a bid of 400k was rejected and we shouldn't pay more then that Not really, your point was that Scunny had a £400k bid rejected!
Jimmy Posted 30 June 2008 Posted 30 June 2008 Not really, your point was that Scunny had a £400k bid rejected! no my point was about the fee, scunny was just a reference, that was wrong
Bert Posted 30 June 2008 Posted 30 June 2008 no my point was about the fee, scunny was just a reference, that was wrong I hope you don't suck cock, cos you bite so easily.
morris1234 Posted 30 June 2008 Author Posted 30 June 2008 I hope you don't suck cock, cos you bite so easily. right i know what the guy meant basically, s****horpe know of a bid (rejected or not by cheltenham) that was in the region of 400k by another club whom s****horpe dont know and adkins has said he doesnt want to pay more than 400k, therefore the player is no longer a scunny target and he can go to whoever made the bid (if accepted)!
Fez of Mahrez Posted 2 July 2008 Posted 2 July 2008 Cheltenham fans view http://www.robinsnestforum.co.uk/viewtopic.php?t=21100 S****horpe in for him possibly? I hope so to be honest. I think we need someone with height, strength and ideally some pace if one of the striking slots is going to be taken up by Fryatt or Campbell. I am assuming Howard is off of course.
Ric Flair Posted 3 July 2008 Posted 3 July 2008 Gillespie has always struck me as the same sort of player as Fryatt?? Good first touch, but seriously lacks pace.
MikeyT Posted 3 July 2008 Posted 3 July 2008 Gillespie has always struck me as the same sort of player as Fryatt?? Good first touch, but seriously lacks pace. Nooooooo!
teblin Posted 3 July 2008 Posted 3 July 2008 Can't believe people would prefer someone like this to DJ campbell. He wasn't amazing last year but still feel he can do this business as this level.

foxes-are-blue Posted 3 July 2008 Posted 3 July 2008 According to Sky sports news he has handed in a transfer request????
Finn Claw Posted 3 July 2008 Posted 3 July 2008 given we have (at present) Fryatt DJ Howard Hayles Chambers Sappleton Odihm.. (however you spell his name) I'd guess we won't sign a striker until we have sold a few, if this guy does come in I expect one of the above (or more) will be off pretty sharp

SamL Posted 4 July 2008 Posted 4 July 2008 Odihambo Or Odhiambo, even... NSLL, there's no point telling someone how to spell a word when you can't spell the word yourself.
Asha Posted 4 July 2008 Posted 4 July 2008 NSLL, there's no point telling someone how to spell a word when you can't spell the word yourself. At least I was closer than Odihm
