lavrentis Posted 9 July 2008 Posted 9 July 2008 Well I asked my dad and he said Bob Lee and Jon Sammels.
Ultra Posted 9 July 2008 Posted 9 July 2008 SPIDER T.SPEARING J.WILLIS HOWIE A.ROGERS JOSH LOW JUNIOR LEWIS G.FENTON DE VRIES ADE JIM MELROSE Now here's a team we might have even beaten last season. I doubt it. Akinbiyi and Melrose had decent top flight scoring records for us - certainly better than ANY of our bunch of fcukwit forwards (apart from Hume) managed last season in a lower league.
Joe. Posted 9 July 2008 Posted 9 July 2008 John Curtis, Alan Rodgers and Chris Makin all strike me as some of the worst I've seen. I hated them all.
The Stig Posted 9 July 2008 Posted 9 July 2008 Darren EadieSimon Royce Danny Coyne Not having that. Sub keeper who played one game in which he did nothing wrong. He then went on to be Burnley's first choice for the next two years who turned in to a better side than us. Had he had played he'd have been fine I'm sure.
NewquayFox Posted 9 July 2008 Posted 9 July 2008 Got to agree that Lammie Robertson was Crap, watched him play for City V Chelsea at the Bridge back in the 70s whilst working in London and everyone around was pissing themselves at how Crap he was. A lot of the Garbage that have pulled on a City shirt on over the last few years shoud be on any all time Crap list. Also Lee Pisspott, remember spotting him doing one of those story strips in The Sun, I told John Regan and he stuck it in WTMG,now that was a quality publication,WTF has WTMG gone ? ;o)
Ultra Posted 9 July 2008 Posted 9 July 2008 from 89 -90 to Present ... OK here goesNicky Platenauer Michael Trotter Ricky Hill Ashley Ward Lee Philpot Richard Cresswell Gavin Ward's right foot Elvis Hammons Tony Spearing Ade Akinbiyi Nathan Blake Paul Brooker Peter Canero Brian Carey - Just for the pace Franz Carr Alan Rogers Carl Court John Curtis Gary Fitzpatrick Scott Gemmill Peter Gilbert Joe Hamill Kevin Pressman Craig Hignett Geoff Horsefield Jason Jarrett Andy Johnson Radostin Kishishev Junior Lewis Des Linton Josh Low Chris Makin Lee Marshall Alan Maybury Stefan Moore Lee Morris Shaun Newton Jimmy Neilsen Alan Paris Nicholas Priet Nicky Summerbee Momo Sylla Julian Watts Andy Welsh Dennis Wise (Cretin) I have an arguement for everyone of the above, they were shiite. No Jacob Laursen? Or Lars Hirschfeld? Or Rufus Brevett? Here's a few more to throw in from last season alone.. Gabor Bori DJ Campbell Jamie Clapham Stephen Clemence Kelvin Etuhu Matt Fryatt Collins John Hosein Kaebi Zsolt Laczko Matt Oakley But for the West Brom game, Steve Howard would also be on there. Carey and Watts should be excluded for their parts in play-off wins. And Alan Paris at least put in enough effort to win a fans' player of the year award. Akinbiyi at least made it to the top flight and was our top scorer in his first season there. Can anyone seriously see the likes of Fryatt ever playing Premier League football?

Joe. Posted 9 July 2008 Posted 9 July 2008 Why are people including players who have played like one or two games for us? That really doesn't warrant a place in this list surely?
Ultra Posted 9 July 2008 Posted 9 July 2008 I would dispute that claim. Andy kicked anything that moved and had great tattoos. Which is more than can be said for some we've had down the years. Ermm, wasn't one of them NF/BNP-related, meaning he had to wear a bandage to cover it up in every match? He did set a rather thuggish trend, though, one that the likes of Ally Mauchlen and Gary Coatsworth eagerly followed..
Ultra Posted 9 July 2008 Posted 9 July 2008 Why are people including players who have played like one or two games for us? That really doesn't warrant a place in this list surely? On the contrary. The fact they could barely break into some of the weakest sides we have ever had is a sign how desperately dire they were.
Ultra Posted 9 July 2008 Posted 9 July 2008 That really is pushing it. Kisnorbo Fulop Fulop's probably the ONLY one out of a list of about 50. And even he was only on loan..
Ultra Posted 9 July 2008 Posted 9 July 2008 Matty Fryatt. End of. Certainly on the shortlist, but ultimately Lammie Robertson and the poison dwarf both outdo him..
Finnegan Posted 9 July 2008 Posted 9 July 2008 I can't be fooked reading five pages of this. But if anybody's bothered to write down Coatsworth I will glass them.
Ultra Posted 9 July 2008 Posted 9 July 2008 I can't be fooked reading five pages of this. But if anybody's bothered to write down Coatsworth I will glass them. They have.. As stated previously, NO players from our Wembley/League Cup victories should feature on this..
J.Lisemore Posted 10 July 2008 Posted 10 July 2008 I thought he was kind of decent to be honest. Please tell me your joking.
gloucesterfox Posted 10 July 2008 Posted 10 July 2008 I may have missed it but has anyone mentioned Gregor Stevens signed for £165,000 in 1979 and offloaded to Rangers four months and four games later for £150,000 four months later. In those days £165,000 was quite a big signing. A defender who couldn't make a tackle for us but seemed to turn into some sort of hard man at Rangers.
Filberts lovechild Posted 10 July 2008 Author Posted 10 July 2008 Would it be too harsh of me to include Clive Clark do you think?
Brenfox Posted 10 July 2008 Posted 10 July 2008 This thread is unreal. Most of these players are nowhere near the worst in our history. For me its either Mick Kennedy or Tony Spearing.
Tilley Posted 10 July 2008 Posted 10 July 2008 John Curtis, Alan Rodgers and Chris Makin all strike me as some of the worst I've seen. I hated them all. Bloody dreadful, is this guy still around? EDIT: Was released by Accrington Stanley. Wikipedia seems to think he has retired from football
harpendenfox Posted 10 July 2008 Posted 10 July 2008 A left back from the late 70s early 80s called Norman Leet. Comedy name. Comedy player. Gregor Stevens - woeful Lammie Robertson - beyond hopeless Tommy English - utterly clueless Jeez, there have been a few
