Corky Posted 10 July 2008 Posted 10 July 2008 Would it be too harsh of me to include Clive Clark do you think? Yes, he actually looked quite good against Watford then had his unfortunate health problems. Many, many worse players than him have disgraced this shirt.
Kilworthfox Posted 10 July 2008 Posted 10 July 2008 Cant fault many of your list but dont really agree with these two. Priet never really got into the first team so bit harsh that's in the list and someone like Luigi Glombard isnt. And I didnt think Watts was all that bad. Not the greatest but not a contendor for worst surely?? Odd fact of the day - Watts scored in my first two visits to filbert street. One for sheffield wednesday reserves and then for us against Chelsea in my first league game. Glombard I can not remember ever playing for us so would be unfair to comment but he must have been gash. Watts although not terrible was poor, and was soon found out IMO Priet was a French Loser 1 time from a respectable club, which may be why he was given time of Day here as he was from Lyon, However I saw him in the reserves and half a performance in the 1st team and was shit as I remember, he was not given another 1 year deal! He was a Loser a 2 time! I am correct!
teblin Posted 10 July 2008 Posted 10 July 2008 Bloody dreadful, is this guy still around?EDIT: Was released by Accrington Stanley. Wikipedia seems to think he has retired from football He wasn't great but we got promoted with im in the side.
Spiritwalker Posted 10 July 2008 Posted 10 July 2008 Jimmy Smellrose was not all that bad. I once saw Jim Melrose miss a chance that I'm sure was already over the line.
dandannieldanok Posted 10 July 2008 Posted 10 July 2008 Would it be too harsh of me to include Clive Clark do you think? Bit harsh I suppose, but I thought he was pretty crap in the few games he played.
Father Ted Posted 10 July 2008 Posted 10 July 2008 Bit harsh I suppose, but I thought he was pretty crap in the few games he played. He wasn't crap, he was better than Clapham...
Father Ted Posted 10 July 2008 Posted 10 July 2008 He wasn't great but we got promoted with im in the side. The only good thing about him was his throw-in and that was about it.
jaspal1000 Posted 10 July 2008 Posted 10 July 2008 Whole squad last season, no question. Diabolical. Absolutly useless. Maybe Mattock and Bell only exceptions for me. LCFC turnaround begins this season coming hopefully. Fingers crossed. Pearson please please please get rid of Howard, Hayles, Clemence, Oakley, N'Gotty. <Freeloaders have no passion for city. Only there for £ and nothing else. But signings so far look promising.

Uncle Albert Posted 10 July 2008 Posted 10 July 2008 aleksander tunchev lol How is that remotely funny?
act smiley Posted 10 July 2008 Posted 10 July 2008 Lars Hirschfeld? Was Lars really that dreadful? I mean, ok he didn't break through into the team, but honestly would he have been any worse than Rab if he'd stayed?
Chairman of the Bored Posted 10 July 2008 Posted 10 July 2008 Ermm, wasn't one of them NF/BNP-related, meaning he had to wear a bandage to cover it up in every match? He did set a rather thuggish trend, though, one that the likes of Ally Mauchlen and Gary Coatsworth eagerly followed.. I recall he used to kick right wingers skyward. Can't remember the actual tats themselves or if any were politically motivated. Unlikely to be referenced in Fossils and Foxes but I'll check.
Chairman of the Bored Posted 10 July 2008 Posted 10 July 2008 I've just reached for a lethal dose of pain killers.........I remembered Gregor Stevens!
Milky Posted 11 July 2008 Posted 11 July 2008 In terms of waste of money, has to be Adeola. what about Scowcroft if you count the 4m in wages plus the 3m transfer fee
Asha Posted 11 July 2008 Posted 11 July 2008 what about Scowcroft if you count the 4m in wages plus the 3m transfer fee He scored consistantly for 2/3 years.
Father Ted Posted 11 July 2008 Posted 11 July 2008 ...Though i'd still have to say Jnr Lewis God, now I've just remembered how crap Ade was, if he scored all of his 'shocking misses' that season we would have been champions league contenders and he would have had at least 20 goals...
cjb0780 Posted 11 July 2008 Posted 11 July 2008 Tony Spearing has to be the worst city player ever, surely?
