This forum does drive me crackers sometimes. If you have an opinion that differs from the 'norm' then you get shouted down or ridiculed, OR, as I was the other day, get accused of being in an imaginary 'gang' led by TPH apparently that I know nothing about. I think I've agreed with TPH about three times on here since he joined :P

Seriously though this forum isn't particularly welcoming to newcomers, I think some people should get their head out of their arses and see the bigger picture and get on with what we are here to do - support Leicester. I'm not saying we should all agree because that is ridiculous and would be quite dull but at least respect other people's views.

PS

I still don't like Dickov

Thinking back to the Plymouth goalkeeper crash how you can complain about being shouted down for holding a differing view I don't know.

Never was a bloke more condemned without a trial than him. And you were a part of it in your small way but you certainly didn't seem to like an opposing view. Not one bit.

As for agreeing three times with TPH that's compelling evidence of a bond. It is virtually impossible to agree with TPH about anything. :D

And what's this about the "imaginary" gang? Didn't I supposedly "ignore" you at an informal gathering of the Swan Lestas or was that another occasion because I honestly don't remember which is something you'd understand if you ever drank Barbars?

Perhaps they were so stealthy you weren't even aware of being drawn in. Sometimes it happens. Ask The Singh. He's a great guy but he weakens when he's had a few and is very vulnerable. They'll even have his brother if he's not careful. :crylaugh:

Not that it matters. It all a bit of a wind up for the most part. Okay it boils over the top on occasions and I know all about being collectively shouted down for having a alternative view. But for my part it's quickly forgotten and I'd happily buy any of them a drink if it came to it. Most of the time. :D

Haha I knew you'd chip in Thrac. The thing is with you mate is that you love the attention and arguements and in fact court them. Yes you did ignore me and Stez and made a beeline for Lisa (embarrasing) we were quite prepared to say hello but you blanked us.

I didn't judge Luke McCormick, you just assumed I did because it suited your arguement. You, my friend are the exception to the rule, I respect anyones views but you put yours across in such a way that makes it so easy to argue with and your 'thoughts' on drink driving leave me, quite frankly, gobsmacked. I don't agree with them, but you are entitled to think them.

My comment on here was basically about people picking at people about virtually nothing. I am in my own gang, not this swan lesta bollocks or any other bollocks that is floating about. You are bloody paranoid and I refer you to the Carly Simon song about Warren Beatie - I think you know which one I mean Tony.

Well of course I am. I've always wondered what goes on in Uxbridge when I've been sitting on the Piccadilly line. I expect it's all I ever imagined and a whole lot more

I do recall talking to Lise and her niece but if you think I ignored you and Stez on purpose you're quite wrong. It was difficult to hear anyone so that might have been a factor but, whatever, it wouldn't have been intentional I can promise you. So it's up to you if you hold one of those grudges you referred to.

As for paranoia there have certainly been orchestrated attacks on this forum and the administrators have been concerned to do something about them. Many people have been upset about having their views shot down and there are cliques, inevitably really.

But no, I don't have any lasting feeling of persecution. My shoulders are broad enough and my main gripes have been about the right of reply. I'm well aware that people can be passionate about their beliefs and are easily wound up! :D

As for Carly Simon, quite naughty-looking from memory but I can't ever remember listening to her in my life and couldn't imagine ever doing so it she were chirruping on about Warren Beatty.

Meanwhile, has Dickov finally signed? :D

Sounds like Lisa and her neice took one for the team, there.

That's martyrdom and selflessness in it's purest form.

You have more things to worry about than that. I've just had word that there's no such thing as the Swan Lestas.

It's like being written out of history.

Frankly I refuse to believe it. It's no more than a malicious rumour. The idea of the Lestas disbanding is like Grant fronting his bar sales with Strongbow.

The Lestas may be dormant but they'll soon be be stirring again in the snug of their favoured retreat.

Just as the Earth is a "round" the Lestas are around.

Strong, resilient, defenders of their faith.

And alert for the threat of any Trojan like a team of Scarab beetles.

And where would the Forum be without em?

Now where's that pint? :D

This thread has the potential to become one of Foxestalk's Finest.

And that after a meagre 15 posts only so far.

Wonder how many private messages I'd get if I deleted it.

Thracian getting lost in the Evil Black Conspiracy Hole...

I feel sorry for you, Thrac. :(

I've never witnessed an internet persona taking a virtual construction that serious.
